Saw the whole game today. Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema barely did anything worthwhile. Sad to see Bale get so much credit, Ronaldo's celebration after the P.K, and Benzema still wearing a Madrid shirt.

hopefully cr7 wins club world cup with real madrid too

CR´s 7 is without a question the best world soccer player, Portugal is in the Brazil World Cup because what he´s done vs Sweden (the amazing hat trick) :p

Would anyone agree that Atletico's stamina-management was poor last night, compounded by the sub they lost in the 8th minute, which was their fault as well?

Sure, they have a small squad, and have played a lot of games this year, but it was a massive risk to play in a way which sees the team run out of energy in the 70th minute. It nearly worked, but they had no chance of scoring after that point, so they were looking at having to survive 20/50+ minutes without conceding twice, against the most lethal attack in the world

I think the energy they needed to survive Real Madrid was more than any team can withstand. I think if it was another team then Atletico would still have stamina for the remainder of the game.

When you sacrifice any sort of offence for all-out defence, you better bloody hope that you get a massive slice of luck at some point. The thing is, more often than not, you won't get that slice of luck. It's a strategy that can only take you so far because the moment you go behind, you're absolutely done for. Atletico fell into that trap. It's unlucky that the goal came in the very last minute. but it could of come at any time really and the outcome would of been the same.

Also, Modric got a haircut:

Would've been less of an issue had Simoene not stupidly wasted a sub on Costa. Biggest fuck up of the night.

Said it in the football thread, but congrats Real btw :)

Don't think anyone can honestly claim you didn't deserve it.
Considering that even Ronaldo today had to go out and defend that it was deserved, I think there is a lingering feeling that they played a bad game and got lucky, especially with their massive monetary advantage over Atletico.

Fairly scoring 4 with the attacking trident massively underperforming makes it even more deserved imo

pulga you mug, stop posting "LOL ANCELOTTI DID THIS AND CASILLAS DID THAT" and give us a best of list with links.

Edit: ooops, should have been in the Football thread. Fuck these multiple thread stuff, confuses the shit out of me.
