CDPR institutes mandatory six-day work weeks for Cyberpunk 2077

Either way, 10% of the revenue going to the team is huge. That game will sell like hot cakes. A lot of people would happily do these weeks of crunch for that.
Technically they said "And, Like in recent years, 10% of the annual profits our company generates in 2020 will be split directly among the team." I'd assume they'll be doing the same for 2021, but this also includes money theyve made this year before CP2077 released. Idk when this pay gets to the devs or whatever but hope its as it arrives and not as a bonus at the end of the year.

It is possible to say that devs agreed to this type of work schedule when they decided to pursue a career making AAA games, and it is also possible to agree that the workload can be excessive and there should be an effort to address the matter in a balanced way.

But the people making a stink about it should also have no problem if these games start taking over 10 years to develop if thats the case.
