My guess is that the App uses AI to make stuff happen in real life. I see that James Gunn brother is in this film too. Looks like it's a mix of science fiction and horror

I'm not sure its manifesting stuff in real life, but bieng used to confuse and antagonize folks through their phones, like making on the fly fake videos. Probably does bleed into a "I'm not sure if this is real or AI generated" hallucinogenic territory though.
