Is that the one with the cute lesbians
I don't recall any lesbians but Alicetaria and Mamika are close (two on the left). And Mamika is cute.

ToG ep 13 (finale) - "The ugliness seeping out from inside you makes me cringe"

Same bro.

Khun better fuck her up. Real bad. And bloody.

Watching Nagi no Asu Kara (A Lull in the Sea) right now. Came in with low expectation but wow this anime is extremely good in all departments. Great animation, great music and very interesting and emotional story. Reminds me a lot of Clannad where the only gripe I have with both is the supernatural part.

Surprised this hardly gets talked about (it's certainly not underrated considering it has a MAL rating of 8.15).

Nagi no Asukara is amazing ....great story, setting, character development, and that music which is personally one of the best out there

one of the best the studio's (P.A Works) work..you can check their other anime(if you havent watch yet) like Hanasaku Iroha, Tari Tari, (these also had amazing music and beautiful art and animation), Shirobako (a must watch), Sakura Quest, Charlotte also need to watch,Glasslip, Another(if you prefer horror/thriller), Kuromuko, Irodoku World in Colour, Red Data GIrl, Angel Beats...the rest also pretty good like Eccentric Family and Uma Musume Pretty Derby

and you can check out their anime film Maqua:When Promised Flower Blooms directorial debut by the famous Mari Okada which is, was praised by Makoto Shinkai.

If you looking for something smilliar like Nagi No Asakura where the cast grew up from children to adult with great world building, setting and plot, try Shinsekai Yori (From New World)..this also really good.

ToG - From beginning to Fin.

Pretty cool seeing everything in animation in some form. A combination of having read the webtoon and watching a lot of anime over the years means I wasn't completely blown away. This is more my own experience, if I watched this fifteen years ago I know I would have knocked my socks off. Honestly I was mare interested in seeing other people reactions to it on YouTube (that's starting to get old now though). I'm a little disappointed they didn't go into explaining mechanics like needles and bangs deeper. Many lines cut and things condensed but I fully understand that a thirteen episode anime which likely won't have another season for a year will flow differently than a web comic which goes from week to week. The anime did add things so that's cool. When (if?) season two comes I believe I should skip all the YouTube reactions.

Hats off to the ToG anime team, the pulled it off.

Edit: That final scene pretty much was exactly how I wanted the anime to end.

Uh...should I watch Sword Art Online? Its rating on MAL is conspicuously low despite the immense amount of people that have watched it.

And for something much more obscure, is Towa no Quon worth watching? Watched a trailer, but it seems kinda simple.

Watch Log Horizon instead, you will never regret your decision. Accel World(by the same author) is also good. I have read the SAO light novel upto volume 15 and so I considerably hate it way more than your average SAO hater. Seriously, watch Accel World(the anime is just a prologue) and read the light novel(english publication by Yen Press).
You either go the Log Horizon route of making it look like an actual trapped in a MMO story or go the Accel World route of making it really ridiculous and not call it a MMO.

It's not necessarily the Isekai aspect that I was interested in. Just that it's so insanely popular which usually should mean it has some sort of draw to it.

I've got Re:Zero and Konosuba for my top tier Isekai needs. Would be nice to get more Grimgar too.

I meant the inside a game part. Log Horizon is also a really good isekai.

This list is so accurate but got too many dislikes for not putting DBZ and *insert generic shounen anime here*. Although if it was me, I would put Featherine on top since she is above all fiction.

There is also this, but again dont know why Demonbane is higher than Tenchi and Featherine.

The draw is really just the trapped in a game bit. It has high enough production values, cute girls, wish fullfilment protagonist, etc and reached that sort of critical mass where everybody has heard of it.
Really though the writing is kind of bad and the protagonist sucks.

Did you expect the time skip? Also I like the OP2 song a lot.

I watched My Hero Academia Season 1 and enjoyed it.

Will wait for the DVDs of S2 and 3 to get cheaper before buying though.

Still have many on the to watch list.

So, i finished Kengan Ashura [what was currently available on netflix]
- Still ugly AF
- show got better because it was a tournament where you saw more weird fighters and not blandy mcbland face the Main fighting character (great thing), and he gets one or 2 interesting moments in his 2nd fight.
- more of the old man (good thing)
- the other fighters are all engaging. even top dude who is super bland gets a few interesting bits.
- still a 7. will continue to watch it because of my friend, would think about watching if he wasn't there.

But all that Pales in comparison to what I watch next.
Being from a cooking family, the next anime hit incredibly close to home

Shougeki No Soma - Food Wars [Now On Netflix]

At first i was a bit concerned with the lewdness of the show, kind of grew on me and having tasted and made those types of meal, I get exactly what those moments d'extase are.
- Food porn on point
- hungry AF on every episode
- wanna make everything on the show
- enjoy all the diferent characters in the show
- kind of annoyed at the ease of success the MC has
- love to see him succeed
- Enjoyed the fact they show him and his father try pairings and seeing them hyped at how bad it is, sad to not see those anymore except for 1-2 appearances now and again. those are kind of always present if you try to cook new stuff
[ now just after a food war against a graduate, and gonna be binging the shit out of that show. ]

The first half of Season 1 is some of the best isekai-shit you'll ever find, it's truly awesome.

Then it turns to harem-shit and it makes you hate yourself, because you can't stop watching it because of that first half of the first season that showed you a glimpse of true greatness, and you keep telling yourself "oh well, at least the animation and music make it worth watching, right", but then you reach "War of Underworld" and the plot becomes so utterly super-dumb that you just keep praying "pls, let this be the final season of SAO, no more afterwards pls" - and ofc, there's always a news season, because this franchise prints money and Kirito needs more girls that fawn over him.
