We need to go with a throwback.

NFL Offseason Thread 2013 |OT2| Josh Freeman is fat and eats too much food. Fat. Fatty. Fatfat.

This was probably posted since I haven't been on in the last few days but both Jarvis Jones and Bjorn Werner's draft stock have dropped signifigantly.

Jarvis Jones runs a 4.9 at his proday

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock reported from the Pro Day that Jones ran a 40-yard dash in the 4.9-second range, and that representatives of multiple teams were alarmed that Jones was that slow.

“I think a 4.9 is a red flag,” Mayock said. “I talked to a lot of coaches and scouts and they all said the same thing: ‘Wow. A lot slower than we expected.’”

Medical concerns for Bjorn Werner

*Medical concerns about Florida State defensive end Bjorn Werner are driving the stock of the prospect down with the draft a little more than a month off. One source said new information on Werner has concerned clubs and he has a yellow flag for one team. “It's not red but he is yellow and going down.” According to the source, Werner has a previous injury that has not healed properly.

I'd love for either to fall into the second round. Its pretty damn crazy how far Jones' stock has fallen considering he was being hyped as a #1 pick early in the college football season.

This draft is going to be one of the more interesting ones in history considering there is no clear cut #1-#5 players.

soccer in a blizzard is amazingly compelling. they should start doing this with all the lame sports. baseball with bedposts, basketball in the rain etc

its not as awesome as you think.
still it show how egotistical he was.

He is pretty stupid for doing this as a student teacher, but I don't know if I have any problem with him using "bad language" in a school board meeting. It's a meeting with adults, and for adults. It sounds like they let him go for criticizing the school, but the Asst. Super Intendent is trying to paint his use of bad language as objectionable and a good enough reason to terminate his contract.

I think the school looks pretty bad in this write-up/news story. Using "HBO language" in a school board meeting doesn't sound like a good reason to fire a teacher. It sounds like they retaliated against him for being openly critical of the school's administration.

Edit:

Did you know this guy? Is he a bad teacher?

he used to work here.
He always overreached his boundaries trying to go over supervisors heads and have the company work on his terms.
basically he was always trying to have everything his way.
however my mother is a substitute teacher and she tells me about how shitty some of those public school kids are so Im not surprised. He has some screws loose somewhere.

Yeah. It's hard to judge those kinds of news stories, because it was obviously a story that the student-teacher sought out in order to spark interest in some kind of litigation.

funny you should say that since he does exactly that.
Thats why the company walked on eggshells with him.

I don't know how soccer groups its regions, but this snow trick is gold. Schedule all US matches in the winter in snowy environments. As long as the Canadians don't escalate to ice rinks we can't lose

My choices were trying to finish Halo 4, watching Oklahoma soil itself, or snow soccer. Sometimes you just gotta make the least bad choice

I see you picked up the new Gears. How is it? I think I kept Gears 3 long enough to finish off the SP and get my ass waxed in MP a few times, then it was off to eBay with it.

I love it. I am a huge Gears fan and it is my favorite by far. The game is crazy hectic and fun. The campaign has they declassified missions that make the levels harder, and they are so much fun to do. The mp is so much faster then the other games, and overrun and survival are so team oriented. I really cant recommend it enough. Katie and I got the season pass and we will be on playing it all the time, so if you are worried about having people to play with, dont. This is going to be our go to game for a long time. PCF really nailed it with this game.
