The move where Kratos locks on and pulls you in is kinda annoying but I'd place Sly's level 1 over all else. I was playing yesterday and dodged behind Sly just as he activated his level 1. I forgot that Murray spawns behind him and still got wrecked.

Oh jesus. PSABR Gaf is going to explode with fanboy glee or rage depending on who is confirmed at Gamescom.

So I finally got to play PSABR outside of the beta, at the PS Experience tour here in PA. I dunno if anyone else has confirmed it but the only new characters available for play on the tour are Big Daddy and Drake. I'll go over what I thought about them:

Big Daddy: I was really, really happy with how he felt. He didn't feel too slow or too fast, he was just right for what he is - a big heavy tank character. He has a lot of power and his charge attack with super armor actually isn't that easy to abuse, it can be punishable if you keep spamming it.

He seems to have combos that flow more easily than other characters, even some great set up combos. His level 1 is kind of lame but his level 2 RAPES. His level 3 is basically the same damn thing but it makes it even easier for you to rape everyone else since they're all slowed.

Drake: He felt floaty like Luigi, but he also felt maneuverable like how Drake really is in Uncharted, if that makes sense. Overall I thought his moveset was pretty awesome as well, he really is an all around character in terms of range and speed.

His supers felt very circumstantial, like his level 1 is perfect for countering someone elses super (just like in the official combo video) and his level 2 is kind of like the other characters who have a horizontal area super attack, only the timing is definitely different. I thought his level 3 was great but I can't wait for the Descendant model to be improved... at least I hope it will be. They really need to be more crawly and terrifying like they were in the game. Right now they just look goofy.

Anyway, really happy with how it felt playing the newer build (I think?), although I didn't have enough time to really compare how differently they played entirely. If the PS Experience tour hits your area, definitely go even just for that - it's a lot of fun and they do give out some swag for tweeting

I won't post an entire wish list but I will say I hope the Square Enix character is anyone but Lightning, even though she makes the most sense for "cross promotion", it seems most of us want anyone but her but if Square Enix were to put someone in, it would probably be her. I'd much rather have:

Why him and not Cloud? Because we need more villains in the game. There's too many goody two shoes. We need more dudes and gals who just want to see the world burn.

If you were at Santa Monica a couple weekends ago, you'd have met me AND my source. :) Remember in my Q/A when I said that I found it highly ironic that the "leak" occurred during that same weekend? Well although I didn't have anything to do with that leak, the ironic part was in the timing with meeting my friend. Heh, the individual took a pic of me on the SM Pier...in which I suppose if I did put the picture up and you magnified the zoom on my eyes and saw the reflection, my source would be revealed! LOL, that's some Ninja Gaiden 3 deciphering right there. Suffice to say, I didn't put the picture up because it didn't have anything to with the story and stuff. In fact, it was just a picture of me by the arcade, lol. No cars in the background to look at, no counting of bullets or seagulls, nothing. Only relevance was who took the pic.

It actually felt pretty good. He really did feel like an all around type character, I think he'll be great for beginners. Also, don't mind my weird eyebrow raising:

I'm actual excited to play as Drake. Feels like he hasnt received a lot of hype/attention. Heck I want to play as everyone, they're so different. Lol. Most of all I want to play as Kat.

Remember which community you're saying that to! We've attempted to pick characters out of some blurry as hell photos, hahah. We can't be sure that some members aren't above kidnapping...

I just got to that point the other day and have been doing missions. The difficulty kind of evens itself out and you end up learning how to play a bit better (at least I did).

But you are so close to the end AND to the most enjoyable section of the game! Cant believe you stopped there. Just grind a bit more. And dont bother with the Guis yet. There is a benemoth walking around when you enter the steppe. Stalk him and gain the preemptive strike status. You can kill it in one stagger. Keep on doing it until you feel you are at a decent level. Then go to the end of the steppe and just attack the giant lion fighting with the benemoth and kill the benemoth first then the lion. They will give lots of XP. PROFIT!
