I did just see the price in Aussie Dollarydoos and god damn! $159.95 for the Ultimate edition.

That's more then I spend on games most years, I mean with sales you can get so much good stuff for that amount!
 
No, it's pointless pre-ordering this early. There hasn't been any gameplay shown, it doesn't release for another 5 months and there are literally no benefits to pre-ordering this early. If I do preorder it won't be until the end of October or maybe even when the preload goes live.

No, and I will not play this game. It's just a game, and even if video games take such a huge place in my life, the new face this release will give to this industry is not going to be on me.

100 dollars for a code is what it'll be from now on, and the only ones that should think it's ok are the shareholders.

Can't wait for the even next step of a unique game pass full of far right ads


Anyway, I looked at this news remembering when I got ahold of GTA III, and put it in PS2 and I immediately had to realize that it's over.

Preordering a code in a plastic box , i cannot even imagine how dumb people are doing this.

not being able to install the game from disc or multiple discs, i will be putting 5$ on the servers being smoked for weeks after release day, as millions and millions of people are going to download this on day one. its gonna be a glorious meltdown.

Nope. It's not like that a digital game can be sold out. And since the "physical" edition won't contain a disc, no need there either.
 
  • The Ultimate Edition 'bonuses' are whack as fuck; both for being lame in general but also for being paywalled behind the Ultimate Edition.
  • Still haven't see any gameplay.
  • Digital only.

Then I will definitely buy at launch. Wish they would hurry up and do this for RDR2, but at this stage they will probably wait till after GTA6 releases.

Recently started playing that game on PC and it's sad it's stuck at 30 on consoles. It's glorious.
 
no, TBH i don't really care about GTA
I have lot of better games
and my backlog is crazy

i will buy when i got mood or time for it
 
I'll wait for the PC version and buy that if the game turns out to be good.

They still need to show proper gameplay.

Please think of the publisher, they need a return on investment ASAP to pay for the money spent making the game.

No reason anymore to pre-order with digitial. Not like it's a Blizzard premium box edition.
 
Buy refurbished Series S for pennies, make a new email and Xbox account connected to it, buy the game, play the game, sell the game with the account bundled with the series S.

Btw everyone buying the ultimate 100$ edition with locked in game content... please post here the receipts because in the future we cant accept your complaints when every game start doing this.

Every shitty practice in this industry is allowed by dumb ass fomo gamers. And this will be the new one.

Not sliced apart and the odds high that it will be full of woke slop, I'll pass. If the game actually turns out to be good it will be just as fine a year from now on sale. There's too much shit like Onimusha, Gears and Zelda to play. This hype is just so that in 48 hours we get a new blurb about how so many millions of Oreos have been done in some press release.
