I have fond memories of Star Fox 64.
these graphics are not insane looking or even close to being impressive. like cmon. do we live in different planet now? Nothing is insane graphically about this. the Switch 2 can produce much better graphics than this and already did.
Man. Like ugh there not much to the game, why screw up what little is there..Aww. The bosses don't have that satisfying hit feedback.
Go grab the new demo. It's so freaking good.I have fond memories of Star Fox 64.
Seems like a gross oversight. It was a combination of the hull hit and the flashing light. Doesn't seem to have either.Man. Like ugh there not much to the game, why screw up what little is there..
Now give us a new Star Fox Adventures, you cowards !
This is the proper sequel.I was already sold on the game, but after playing the demo, I'm frankly blown away. The game looks incredible and it plays SO smooth.
Don't get me wrong, I love Star Fox 64, but now that I see how good the gameplay here is, I wish they would have just made a new game. Or at least changed up the levels a bit.
I'm really hoping this game pops off for them, cause I want a proper sequel so badly.
Considering I paid $50 for snes starfox 30 some years ago and you can buy the cart for $50 now is that so bad. The game is quality after playing the demo.Looks decent but the issue with Nintendo is games like this shouldn't be this expensive. This should be the price range of indie/smaller games.
I do like Assault, and I think it's underrated. But it still didn't live up to 64 for me.This is the proper sequel.

Has way more variety than Star Fox 64, and evolves the mechanics.

What are you going to pick as your bundled game?
I think that promotion is live now, so you get to pick from one of three games.
Here is what the packaging looks like:
The on foot missions have a dual stick aiming options, meaning it's control scheme will be that of modern TPS.I played this a few weeks ago for the first time. The Arwing-missions are fine, although not as good as Star Fox 64, but the on foot missions are complete and utter trash. I even think Zero is better than this.
I am playing the demo right now.... If this in a indication of how upcoming Nintendo games are going to look, damn, cant wait to see Ocarina remake gameplay.

Assault is sadly mid. I like the story and music all right but everything game feel wise felt like a plastic knock off. This is the proper sequel.

Well the difficulty does seem to be a bit easy. But I'm sure it will ship with an expert mode. The demo was great though.![]()
Looks good, but gameplay is as exciting a Gummi Ship sections in Kingdom Hearts
97 times? As far as I'm aware we have one remaster on a 3DSWTF!!! When they announced this I thought it was a new Starfox game. It's just a re-skinned Lylat Wars.
This combined with them remaking Ocarina of Time for the 97th time demonstrates that Nintendo without Iwata is a lazy directionless shell of its former self.
Menu music is an updated version of orginal. I'm guessing most will be remakes of the original songs. The game looks and controls very tight. Everything is easy to see with good contrast. Aiming feels right and the Pro 2 controller's stick is the opposite of the N64's grinding design.
A deluxe, luxury limousine way to play Starfox 64, that is still Starfox 64. That's a good thing, but make a sequel in this engine please, or minimally DLC it out adding planets like MK8.
I wonder whether OOT will be very faithful in the core game part like Starfox, or mix things up more like a RE remake...
Not to mention, Iwata was alive and well when SF64 and OoT were both remastered for the 3DS.97 times? As far as I'm aware we have one remaster on a 3DS

I had 1 dollar and now i have 2 dollars. I have 100 dollarsOpen the Oxford dictionary and look up the word hyperbole.
That's not hyperbole. That's just being dense.I had 1 dollar and now i have 2 dollars. I have 100 dollars
Nintendo quality..................the worst you are going to get is Metroid Prime 4

There were two years that E3 was in Atlanta, and I was able to go both years. Saw StarFox 64, Goldeneye, played some levels of Ocarina of Time before it was out ... really fun memories.I have fond memories of Star Fox 64.
This is the proper sequel.

You are correct, but Nintendo fans are easy to astound graphically.
Here's some old combat space sim (i.e. same genre as Star Fox) graphics that are "amazing" by Switch 2 standards:
X: Rebirth released 2013
Galaxy on Fire released 2010
Aces of the Galaxy released 2008
If these all got ported to Switch 2 with some modern shaders slathered on top they'd have "insane graphics", apparently.
I agree with you. I like the expanded cast, developed story (i.e, not Star Fox SNES/N64 repeated) and more gameplay variety. This is the proper sequel.
