Game looks fantastic and a full gen ahead graphically compared to Stellar Blade, hopefully it's not the usual in engine target render running on high end PCs that ends up being downgraded.
The city and atmosphere are top notch.

The protagonist, her look and sexualization will be criticized and won't please everyone probably even worse than in the first game.

Blood Rain is likely referring to this Chemical or Virus Strain.

Parry and Blink also return in this game but I also noticed during combat you can spot dodge attacks like a boxer would. Overall more fastpaced battle system.

Given TSS is likely a virus and the combat to me is very reminiscent of Godhand this is likely the ShiftUp and Unbound Shinji Mikami collaboration game IMO.

This might actually be god hand 2, now I'm hyped.

It's not unrealistic that Blood Rain has different prompts for different controllers. Also not unrealistic that PS5 will be a platform given ShiftUp gifted every employee a PS5.

They also are self publishing so expect this to be on a lot of platforms. It's a given.

All I know is that if you look at the landscape of our younger hollywood actors, it's very clear that they all look much younger in the face than the generations before them and most of them are 25 and up.

But how? There isn't even going to be an Xbox SKU in 2028, just a PC. I am not sure how an exclusivity deal is going to be calculated if there is no Xbox SKU sales to measure against.

Short of buying the IP outright I don't see the point of making it exclusive. Right now Sony doesn't have competition, just like with PS1 when they were the only CD based option for gaming. Contractually it makes little sense.

That's strange. What if they don't know if they'll make a PS5 release and it might be PS6 only? Might explain why no platforms were mentioned and these are target ingame visuals. I think this game is a long way out still so it would make sense omitting it when mentioning games "coming to PS5 in 2026 and beyond". It might not come out for a long time and well into another gen.

I would say that the game dev, who originally made smartphone games, never had an attachment for consoles to begin with and was always going to prefer independence. Especially since the nature of their games had always clashed with the console's need to be family friendly. They have always knew T&A were important, and consoles are never truly comfortable with that.

I don't think there is bad blood. I think platforms have just not been confirmed for SB2. They can't claim it's coming to PS5 in 2026 and beyond if it might not come to PS5.
