Stellar Blade 2 | Summer Game Fest Trailer

N Novaex Then this game has some potential to be bigger then the first and perhaps we will explore the Colony as a Megastructure. It'll probably be pretty easy to guess the final boss which I assume would have to be Mother Sphere. If the remaining humans abandoned Earth and took the Spire that makes me wonder about Eve though.

Didn't say any of those things. You've made it clear you're sexually into school aged girls, though. So that's weird.

And so a new witch hunt begins.
There's no projecting. Pete's post defending sexualizing schoolgirls said they are "peak female performance". His words. I firmly believe anyone openly saying things like this need to be on an FBI watchlist.

FBI watchlist he says...

Listen guy, I understand that the internet is where people go to vent and unload their frustrations. But what people constantly accuse others of often says more about them than it does about their targets.

You're being so absurdly pretentious and holier-than-thou that you've ended up in the same camp as the weirdos who claimed Pragmata was a paedo game because Diana wasn't... wearing shoes. Yes, seriously.
Also, she had long hair, which -apparently - in that "pedo signal" conspiracy logic is meant to be some kind of coded hint. It's genuinely absurd AND worrying...
At a certain point, you start wondering how people's brains got reduced to this kind of mush.

And to make it even more obvious: do you really think a multimillion-dollar company would deliberately use a minor as a sexual object? This isn't some obscure Steam title buried in the back of the store, this is a mainstream product designed to sell to the masses. The idea falls apart under even basic scrutiny.

The problem is that you've become so fixated on finding internet brain rot everywhere that you've started seeing it even when it isn't there. Not every conversation, character, or creative decision is evidence of some deeper societal sickness.

If the only thing you ever see is internet brain rot, then maybe the problem isn't everyone else. Maybe it's the people who have trained themselves to view everything through that lens.

Weird thread direction but I guess it comes with the creative choice. I don't goon to anime characters. Just here for the gameplay.

People praising movies like Poor Things or Cutties are the ones talking about Asian girls and Asians in general.

It's the usual projection and hypocrisy, with a few bits of racism here and there.
I don't see it as racist. I guess it could be age-ist(?) but honestly idk.

All I know is that if you look at the landscape of our younger hollywood actors, it's very clear that they all look much younger in the face than the generations before them and most of them are 25 and up.

I don't know the exact reasons why. Maybe less vices, cleaner diets, or maybe something else. All I know is that this image below has been a more regular occurrence lately:

I'm exciting and gonna buy the game, but they need to age up her face a bit. Much as I wanna tell critics to stfu, it's really hard to deny she looks 13-15 years old.
There are asian who are already 18 or 19 that has baby face especially, Eurasians, Korean, Chinese, Thailand, and Filipinas.

Dudes, petite girls are a thing. An ex-coworker of mine wasn't even 1'60m and had a very round face.

Men dont care about womens education/carreer/finances/experience etc, we care about their youth/fertility/health/no trauma and low bodycount, thats why younger women get bombarded on insta dms, and are aproached by men much more frequently vs the oldies, even if said oldies are rich/famous/educated etc.

Even men who arent that much on a timeclock usually look better in their early 20s vs late 30s and 40s, but at least we can somewhat make up for our lack of physical beauty/fitness in other ways(status/money/experience/charisma/being funny etc), women cant coz simply guys care about very few things, but we care about it lots :)

Look at this, rihanna from 2026 live(fancy clothes, tons of make up/jewelry), 38yo:

Put her into a club and she easly loses vs 50%+ of broke unknown college girls(or highschool dropouts for that matter), despite all her fame and money :)

They should reveal who the actress is so that the talk about the babyface goes away.

A lot of modern day stars have babyfaces, coincidentally the actors that people here talk about the most, Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, etc. who are all 30s or near 30. I think only Tom Holland has barely crossed that line recently and that's because of his unfortunate receding hairline.

That's why they're all still playing high schoolers or high school-adjacent roles.
Most likely an original face, just like Eve.
"Yes, we did base the character of Eve on the model Shin Jae-eun,"
"We thought that her body shape would be a good reference for the character that we were pursuing. But the face was created originally in-house – it's just the body of the model that we scanned for the game."

And so a new witch hunt begins.

My first comment was in reply to that she looks young. Objectively, she does. I simply stated that it's sort of expected being an Asian game. Afterall, sexualizing school girls is part of the SE Asian culture (see 99% of anime). Pete then went on a tangent explaining that schoolgirls are "peak female performance"

Now we're here. Somehow I'm the bad guy for not being sexually into women that look prepubescent.

You state "do you really think a multimillion-dollar company would deliberately use a minor as a sexual object". I never said this. There's a trend with you people defending sexualizing schoolgirls: you can't read. Looks underage and actually being underage are two different things.

This is the game.
I fell in love with the combat, looks super cool and I miss having more games about punching stuff.

Hope that, when compared to the first game, it's less Souls and more stylish character-action style.

Back then people like Ralph were considered an exception.

Most people expected the looks of Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves, or Tom Cruise, or Brad Pitt during that generation. Sort of young-ish but mature enough in looks to pass as much older if needed.

I almost want to count Dicaprio along with Ralph Macchio, but somehow he managed to shed his childlike image in The Departed. That was the first time I genuinely believed him as a grown man who was in too deep on an undercover job.

Kind of proving the point, though. Young look, arguably child/schoolgirl look (literally, in kill Bill) and sexualized. It's an Asian thing.
sorry but you're not proving any point, its clear you rarely hangout with asians in your life

a lot of my friend in their 20s look even younger than she is, I'm from south east asia

maybe instead of "asians looks too young" you westerner just look too old for your age?

Hehehehehe....

It's a Korean game made by Korean developers starring characters with Korean aesthetics. This character does look a bit younger than Eve, but you can literally find thousands Korean girls in their 20's that look like this.

And yet you were one being very specific on your "objections" unprompted.

But uh, carry on as I reset the clock…
He's the kind of dude that would throw a fit about Megan Fox being in the first Transformers.

Looks pretty amazing, great setting and incredible visuals, gameplay looks to be more dynamic too.
However, I'm really not a fan of the character, she looks too much like a kid, she reminds me of Lily in the first game.

Shift Up making sure that Evie is taking full advantage of X's real estate.

So, was that real gameplay? Because Goeff said it was early in development. If yes, the graphics have markedly improved, but I don't think any of this was real footage.

What makes you think what Geoff said has anything to do with development of the game, let alone knows its current state?

This is the same Geoff that thinks Highguard was going to change the gaming industry. You need better source.

"Sexualizing schoolgirls is an Asian thing"

Proceeds to defend sexualizing schoolgirls, quote "peak female performance", then posting a schoolgirl. Then in follow up posts, more examples.

I'm sorry, tard, but that's proving the point.

Its a teaser. Not even a logo of ps or pc or any platforms in the trailer.

"You people"

There's that same accusatory, but ultimately empty, line of reasoning again along with the habit of lumping everyone into the same shit-basket as a way to feel morally superior for… whatever reason.

You come across as hyper-vigilant and a moral crusader, constantly scanning for wrongdoing and then flattening nuance into broad, sweeping accusations, but what's actually being said there is thin, reactive and ultimately more performative than insightful.

You are not the judge of anyone's morality. What you are doing is throwing out ugly, generalised accusations that lack substance and simply serve to elevate your own stance.

And as I said before, if all you see is ugliness due to internet brain rot everywhere around you, then maybe the issue is not everyone else. It might be worth considering whether the problem lies more in your own perspective than in the people you are criticising.

notice you're the only one saying she looks like a schoolgirl?

I'm saying as an asian that live in south east asia, a lot of woman in their 20s look even younger than she is

you thinking she looks like a "schoolgirl" is a you problem. sorry if you can't even understand that

Had no problems with Eve's design in the original, but new character legit looks like they put a 7y old head on a woman's body

Shit is too weird, man

Graphics look bonkers tho, best looking game of the show

To be fair to him, I also think she looks a bit too young (and one more in this thread said the same), but I just don't really feel like arguing.

I also believe in nuance, which is why listed american/european actors who look young in their late 20s and why I said they should just reveal the actress before everyone jumps off of a cliff with a terrible take.

You don't need to keep defending your reasoning for liking women that look like children. It's a weird hill to die on.

Why would he even say that if it weren't true? He just decided to say some bullshit just cause? It also checks out with the timetable since Stellar Blade was released only 2 years ago, so this one is probably a solid 2-3 years away.

Has nothing to do with saying the game is in development, which is a matter-of-fact statement. This was just a prediction and wish. Totally different things.

Watched trailer slo-mo. The Vial Evie holds reads as follows:

BIOHAZARD - Authorized Personnel Only -CDDP
Description of Item
Case 64
NW Amagi Blvd.
The Scarlet Sin

Blood Rain is likely referring to this Chemical or Virus Strain.

Parry and Blink also return in this game but I also noticed during combat you can spot dodge attacks like a boxer would. Overall more fastpaced battle system.

Given TSS is likely a virus and the combat to me is very reminiscent of Godhand this is likely the ShiftUp and Unbound Shinji Mikami collaboration game IMO.
