In percentage terms it may be the same, but more fans means more warriors. From what i can tell there are a handful of mostly defensive Xbox warriors and at least a dozen of mostly aggressive PlayStation warriors.

Colt sometimes comes across my twitter feed. There seems to be an audience waiting his hilarious takes.
In one vid I saw he was claiming that XBOX was outselling PS5 worldwide. In another, XBOX would have 23 new games out by june 2023. I know there must be PS5 guys that are equally as single-minded but the false narratives from colt are really hilarious.

In regards to your comment of installed apps that dig through your data, I downloaded the duckduck browser around 6 months ago and installed their in beta app tracking blocker. During the course of the week it's normal for duckduck to inform me that it has blocked tens of thousands of tracking request from installed apps.
Check this out from a few minutes ago. Over 98,000 request the past 7 days.

Granted the mods have cracked down on the straight up bashing but a certain few have gotten pretty good at walking that narrow line about getting off their shots and not getting banned

It`s still the same, you just notice it more when the larger group does it.
You will also find Xbox warriors downvoting every PlayStation game, but there are more PlayStation warriors that spam 10s to make up for it.

While I don't go on twitter. I have listened to a couple of kingthrasher videos and he is definitely a bit much. I started listening to his latest video and had to pretty much nope out of there after a few minutes of listening. I'm pretty sure I've listened to Colt's videos as well since I was listening to a bunch of xbox videos for the developer direct.

it's painfully insufferable, i will say from my personal experience i did find one side (won't say who) of the console wars to be more malicious and vitriolic in how they provide their weird little list wars and stupid photoshops.
a while back i learnt to finally just block those clowns, the less of it you see will start to help you forget just how shit as a whole the gaming community has become, i'd love to go back to the SNES/Sega days. I don't understand where the rhetoric comes from that it was as bad or worse back then, it was more just funny "yo dude you playing BORE-io , how slow is that fool" proper playground "yo mamma" type humor. These days it's tribalistic and scary
