Oh god. One particular period of time that was especially insufferable was the first 2 or 3 years after Breath of the Wild came out. Anyone who dared not include it in a list of any kind of best or not heap praise on it was mercilessly dogpiled by rabid Nintendo fanboys. Even chill dudes like Shinobi were attacked for not erecting a mile-high shrine to that game.

Totally remember that. Honestly I think that was one of the reasons I put off BotW for so long. Then when I finally played it, I thought a lot of the mechanics and details were neat. But once that "newness" faded away, everything else was just "alright" to me, lol.

But Twitter is like Youtube, or Reddit, or unregulated gaming forums like Gamefaqs, just bubbles fighting bubbles, and add in the character limitation (though that's ending soon apparently) and the whole bandwagon follow culture, and you have yourself a mess. No no no it always has been the same problem, it was the same when I started gaming on the generation of NES vs Master System (it was the case even before : Atari vs Amstrad), it kept going on Super Nintendo vs Megadrive, PS1 vs Saturn vs N64, etc etc etc. It never has changed, just that before it was just in school that I heard about that then on internet.

It is common to human minds, many have a narrow vision, or a low IQ so they can focus on 1 manufacturer and they feel the need to defend them like it's their mother.

Thanks god I dont do Tik Tok. I've seen hardly any clips in my life. And no interest watching people doing 10 second clips (whatever the length is) acting like a dumbass for clicks.

I guess the sites I surf the most (business, sports and gaming) have hardly any Tik Tok embedded clips. You get Tweets though. Any video clips embedded in them are usually professional in nature (business or sports commentary) vs. random people doing shit at home.

I wish there was a better moderate voice out there. Gaming seems so much more affordable when it comes to quality experiences no matter what you play. PC, consoles, mobile, and VR all can bring hundreds of hours of fun. Add in the subscription service and you can clearly invest a relatively small amount.
