Also, now that we're seeing these previews, we can kind of just do away with the overall shitting on AVALANCHE based solely on what these professionals were ORDERED to make. Like, the comments about the world looking empty and barren were already being quashed by those 20-minute ASMR videos of the different seasons they were doing, but the detail in some of these shots (that are on the PS5 I'm guessing) are ridiculously good.

How is the marketing for this game going? I imagine a brand like Harry Potter (even after all the J.K. Rowling debacles) should strongly invest in a game like this since it's an IP that hit the mainstream, so it shouldn't take too much effort for it to get into people's mouths.

I'm not a great Harry Potter fan, but I wouldn't mind playing the game if it is fun (more for nostalgia of playing the PS1 Harry Potter game), but it's the combat that is putting me off, specially the lame duels. Need to see the combat more in detail to decide.

The previewers were invited to Paris to an event for the game. The previews came out of that event. I know the event was mentioned by some on twitter last week.

there was a 1st person shooter in which you had a gauntlet and you could rebuild destroyed bridges and stuff like that , i forgot what the name was , it was in 2007 or 2008

They really recreated the entire floorplan of Hogwarts. Unreal. Even if it ends up becoming a ubisoft esque game, just being able to tour the grounds on foot or broom is worth the price of admission.

4 difficults sounds good, usually when they are 3, hard is still pretty easy, so i can hope for a very hard mode (that they have to call death eater)

Yeah as cool as quidditch was in the books. The rules didn't make any sense. Not to mention having to program all that shit it would probably be more complex than your yearly sports game

I heard the Quidditch World Cup PC game way back when was decent, but yeah that’s an entire game based on just the sport, no other game elements. DLC to flesh out Quidditch and make it into a game mode could be cool, tho!

We all know that certain sites/ reviewers are going to focused around this topic.
However,
Game looks interesting. Hopefully it runs well on release and it proves to be a challenging game.

I'm really excited for the game! Previews look dope, cannot wait to start playing. Have a few more questions about game length and post-game content, but that stuff is usually not allowed to be talked about til final reviews are published. Can't wait!! This game seems like it's honestly going to be pretty dang great. Hopefully the long wait has been worth it!

Yeah, looks like the console versions are going to be lower res even at 30FPS. Looking at the jack frags video and its stuttering and doesnt look anywhere near native 4k. I imagine that could be youtube compression. Think ill pick up the Xbox version for my daughter but Ill buy on PC if its good.

If we go by Pc requirements. Its 1080p-1440p 60 fps on Medium/High Ultra Textures Setting.

Quality Mode 1080p- 1440p 30 with a lil bit RT sprinkle.

But is Fsr 2.0 in?
We dont know how good settings scale. I watched the Videos on a Tv it looked like 1440p to me. Youtube makes 1440p look like 1080p. But i would bet on 1440p as target if my experienced eyes dont fool me. They dont. But i know for a fact that was Quality Mode…..
