Callisto is SP only and its not exactly "open world" I dont think you need to worry about this game being buggy but who knows.

Yeah i think there is a chance that melee combat will get boring pretty fast. It's my main fear about this game. I dont like this melee first shoot to finish mechanic at all.

Yeah it seems I misjudged what the game is. I thought it was similar to Dead Space with shooting an array of different weapons with melee to compliment that.
I must of missed something because I don’t remember melee combat being the big focus in previous articles and previews. I’m kinda disappointed in all honesty, particularly with the gamespot preview mentioning games like For Honour.

Hey, so can you tell me what dualsense stuff they mention? I'm avoiding all videos so I can go in as spoiler-free as possible, just curious what they added outside of the usual tension for pulling a trigger or whatnot... (anyone who has watched the videos feel free to answer)

I also played Far Changing tides and goty Vampire Survivors.
I wouldn't say my taste is limited. I just don't play every shit released. I have my taste and I play games my whole life. I am waiting for new stuff.
And of course I replayed some other games like gow2018, uc4, metro exodus and so on. I don't only play new games
I did missed Ghostwire tokyo and Deathloop but I still plan to get to them sometime

That melee system looks pretty cool.
I still am of the mindset that the narrative is going to be weak but it'll probably be fun for a first time playthrough. It just looks too much like Dead Space. Those games are great in their own right in terms of gameplay but I was pretty bored with them on replays. It's just a bit too linear/monster closet type stuff. Stuff like that is only effective for so long, at least for me it is.
