The Callisto Protocol Previews are Up

of course this year was underwhelming. What are you talking about.
2 fucking games finally come out since februrary. wow such much games.
Yeah the fuck am I reading.
Bayonetta 3 isn't going to be Nintendo's big holiday seller...

It will be the new Pokémon games.

Sucks how limited your gaming tastes must be.

No offence, obviously everyone likes different things & I hope next year delivers more games to your tastes.

But I can't even keep up with what I want to play this year.
Like what exactly? Perhaps I’m missing something

Well thats why I already decided to have my already preordered physical copy lie around unopened for at least a month, so all those impatient 'day one Beta testers' have time to give dev feedback and the game gets some additional post lauch patches in order to smooth things out.. yeah I inow... it takes some discipine and an extended media blackout for possible spoilers... 😎
Very smart move. Much smarter then buying the game on sale or used a few weeks after launch when you actually want to play it.

The game is being made by Glen Schofield, one of the original creators of Dead Space, but I'm not exactly sure where did you get "interactive movie" part.
Some footage I've seen on YouTube and elsewhere doesn't show gameplay so assumed it was a watch sequence and then press 'x to save Catherine O to save Brian type game..

Like what exactly? Perhaps I’m missing something

Elden Ring
Dying Light 2
Horizon Forbidden West
Ghostwire Tokyo
Gran Turismo 7
Pokemon Legends Arceus
Total War Warhammer 3
Sifu
Stray
Tunic
Cult of the Lamb
Neon White
Triangle Strategy
Live a Live
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Bayonetta 3
Splatoon 3
Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Kirby and The Forgotten Land
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Last of Us Part 1
Plague Tale Requiem
Return to Monkey Island

Just to name some of them.

Rest of the year:

God of War Ragnarok
Callisto Protocol
Tactics Ogre Reborn
Devil in Me
Pentiment
Somerville
Evil West
Midnight Suns
NFS Unbound
Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7
Pokemon Violet/Scarlet

So you have your AAA, AA and indie games.
Racing games, action adventures games, RPGs, FPS, a lot of strategies, survival horrors, platformers etc.

To me 2022 is much better than the last year and I've already finished almost 40 games.

Hm, I will say I just don’t play a lot of those types of games, like 2d games or the expansions or most rpgs really, I need a major action element in my games usually or I lose interest, some I’ve already played last year (Cyberpunk, deathloop) - generally agree with the scores though. Elden ring is one of the best games I’ve ever played. High on life, GOW and Callisto protocol are the games I’ll check out before years end. Maybe evil west. Still feels like a subpar year in heavy hitters to me, definitely not my tastes lots of different types of games it’s seems but really the only game I played this year that I had fun with was Elden ring

For almost every year since video games exist you can make a big list of games. Doesn't change the fact some years are way better than others.

Some name dropping is telling it's not a great year (euphemism).

...not sure if sarcasm. :messenger_smirking: but for certain selected releases I´ll just go out of my way buying games Day1 fullprice although I probably wont touch them for a while ONLY to show my support to the devs and do my little part in making it a successfull launch... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
