No, the biggest highlight is a formally exclusive PlayStation 1st party developed franchise hitting Gamepass day 1 (to their dismay, Sony has no control over it).

what's funny is that the guy was probably talking about Life is Strange.
"Woke" elements from this game:
I get it, even I was super skeptical especially after Life is Strange 2 being a total trainwreck
- Main character has a man's name ("Alex")
- There is a female romance option (as well as a straight option, implying Alex is bisexual)
- Danger hair(?)
When the game released, GAF started giving it excellent reviews and I decided to check it out. I was absolutely surprised to see how wrong I was. Alex turned out to be a great and complex character, and had a huge number of feminine mannerisms and characteristics.
A great supporting cast. An amazing location (Colorado). A pretty cool Scooby-Doo mystery. Fun Telltale-like choose your own adventure gameplay.
Absolutely recommended. Don't listen to people saying it's woke, it's not.
Thanks for this breakdown. Maybe we need to update what the term "woke" means at some point. Because it's basically turned into a curse word at this point with little meaning.

Not in the main story. The beauty about this game in Game pass is the only thing you lose if you don't like it is data.

If you liked the first one, yes. By then end of the Game, I fell in love with Alex lol. Good character with a depressing story.

I will say how they did the trailers it did seem like it was woke but I did love the first one and Before the storm so I bought true colors and two because they were on sale. And I was just completely blown away how good True colors is. At least get to episode 3 episode 3 is by far the best episode in life is strange history.

The term Woke is overused now.
it depends, if its a good game, its a good game, i played last of us even if i dont agree with a lot of it.
if it doesnt feel like it has an agenda, then the better

Microsoft is smart to release games on Console, PC and Cloud at different times, so they can make it look like they have more new releases.
Every month I see games I know are already on GamePass, but now you can stream it or something, so they treat it like a new release.

Biggest highlight for me is Lost in Random.
Thats the great thing about these drops is there's something for everyone, and if you don't like any of them wait two weeks and roll again.
Odds are there is one game for you every month.

I played Life is Strange last night (thought it would give me three easy achievements for the weekly rewards set, which it did not lol) and got totally sucked in. I haven't really liked the previous games too much, but this one seems much better. It doesn't seem 'woke' to me, but I hope there's a transgender climate activist dwarf I just haven't come across yet to justify the online incel rage. Looking forward to continuing this weekend - happy to read it's not too long, I don't want to be at it for 30+ hours though.
Man, I love Cricket 22 but the batting is just too easy, same as last year. Also really enjoying F1 '21 after Forza Horizon seemingly reignited my passion for racing games. Also playing Tunic on no fail mode. Cute, but overrated IMO, like all those 'overly hard' games people seem to love now.
