This is a standalone story and has nothing to do story-wise with the other three games. I certainly recommend it, and if you like the game you can go back and play the others (though skip 2, it's garbo).

I enjoyed the second game better than the first, but I'm in the minority. I didn't really like Chloe or Max much much I did love the setting and the mystery element of it.

I weirdly got tired of t20, too many tournaments that constantly run into other tournaments. Give me a good and competitive test match.

Definitely thought of buying Life is Strange a couple times, so I'm glad it's coming to Game Pass. Hope it's closer to the 1st (or even Before the Storm) than the 2nd in terms of quality

what's funny is that the guy was probably talking about Life is Strange.

"Woke" elements from this game:

• Main character has a man's name ("Alex")
• There is a female romance option (as well as a straight option, implying Alex is bisexual)
• Danger hair(?)

I get it, even I was super skeptical especially after Life is Strange 2 being a total trainwreck

When the game released, GAF started giving it excellent reviews and I decided to check it out. I was absolutely surprised to see how wrong I was. Alex turned out to be a great and complex character, and had a huge number of feminine mannerisms and characteristics.

A great supporting cast. An amazing location (Colorado). A pretty cool Scooby-Doo mystery. Fun Telltale-like choose your own adventure gameplay.

Absolutely recommended. Don't listen to people saying it's woke, it's not.

Yeah, pickings are really slim if they're doing that. I'm not a Game Pass subscriber but if I was I'd be very disappointed with this lineup. Microsoft needs their studios to start churning out games at a regular pace.

Yeah, it's completely stand alone, some characters are returning from older games but their previous roles have absolutely no bearing on this games story and is just there for minor fan service.

I'm pleased with those drops. Life is Strange 3 is one I've been wanting to play for a while and both Chinatown Detective Agency and Lost in Randon look great!

This is why MS is dumb by not offering a yearly Gamepass subscription. Instead of getting a whack of money from me all upfront they make me buy monthly cards which means months like this I completely skip and save my money only to subscribe for 1 month sometime in the future when I see something I like. This mo th seemingly sucks so far. Life is Strange is niche. Surely the people capping on that know that right?

Not really, I'd venture to say 99% of all subs can't be bothered to cancel and resub. A yearly discounted sub would likely net them less money overall.
People are distracted and lazy.

I bought Life is Strange True Colors deluxe edition to get the remastered version of life is strange one and before the storm (Man they fucked them up) but man, It's a good game. I do recommend if you like the first life is strange you'll probably love true colors.

This life is strange is good, so I recommend it. It's better than the trash second game and if I look away from the Zeitgeist of first game, it's my favorite. The main character is cool.

I've liked Sniper Elite less and less the further it strayed away from V2 and went open world but 5 would soundly be in the category of "I'd love to try but would never pay for" which, along with indies, is what really makes Game Pass a winner for me. Speaking of indies, Trek to Yomi!!! May looks great.
