It should be $49. Indies need the higher price point far far more than the AAAA live services relying on super well known IP’s and fleecing people with microtransactions.Should be $20
Is this going to come to Xbox eventually?
Where's the 4K/120 newgen version?
I do hope they get to sell a few copies and it energises them for a sequel or DLC. There is lots of bundles in content and if they added a few more cars and tracks I would be down for it. Great first Switch game raw thrills.Game over:
Only thing left to do is level up every car. Kind of disappointed that there was no car unlocks for Hard/Extreme.
No.
Nintendo own the rights to Cruis'n.
Only some sound issues, but it runs on PC now through the Ryujinx emulator at 4k60. By the time I start emulating all my Switch games at the end of it's lifecycle a lot of the issues like this will be fixed. For now I'm just happy to play this game on Switch, while being able to own a physical copy of the game.Where's the 4K/120 newgen version?
I feel like an online multiplayer would've bridged the gap, making the game more appealing to a wider audience for that price point. Those pick & play type of games benefit greatly from an online multiplayer. No online is indeed a bummer and I completely understand people not wanting to shell out $40 for it, but it begs the question of what is a budget release these days. It feels like the days of $5-15 are in the past and a lot of more notable indie games are releasing at $20+.

the original Cruis'n USA used to be or the very last was planned to be a tech showcase. The N64 delay and the fact that it wasn't an arcade perfect port hampered that though.Who wouldve thought Cruisin USA would be a tech showcase lol
It's not "awesome". It's another overpriced mobile game.Casual gaf doesn't know a good game or a good looking game when they see it. ^look at the idiots already. Game looks great on my TV, was really surprised and yeah I noticed it was 1080p.
Game is freakin awesome man, everyone who likes racers should get it.
It is not. Do not complain if games become a mix of predatory DLC filled Free to Play and giant whales loving AAAA and there is less and less variety with this attitude though. It not "awesome". It's another overpriced mobile game.
Variety argument is irrelevant. It is not. Do not complain if games become a mix of DLC Free to Play and giant whales loving AAAA and there is less and less variety with this attitude though.
The game is awesome and tons of fun, all without having to keep me artificially “engaged”.
So what?DF once again hyping mobile-like arcade racing. Last year there was another one which I can’t even remember the name.
I will. Plenty of others will as well. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.Variety argument is irrelevant.
You have completely missed the point. That is, who's gonna pay 35 quid for such a basic piece of entertainment?
"The value" point. It's your money, you can spend it on whatever you want. They say Nintendo fans would even pay for cardboard...I will. Plenty of others will as well. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.
Games like this have great replayability. Not everything needs to be hundreds of hours long. I think Assassins Creed games are awful. In part because of how bloated they are."The value" point. Someone used artificial engagement argument here before. This game has got zero engagement power.Games like this have great replayability. Not everything needs to be hundreds of hours long. I think Assassins Creed games are awful. In part because of how bloated they are.
Well, it isn't and you haven't even played it.On your point, you could say most of the basic and "fun" mobile games have great replayability. The reality is that you're getting bored after 10 minutes with 99% of those mobile games. This one seems to be exactly the same.
How do you know this? Have you played it?Someone used artificial engagement argument here before. This game has got zero engagement power.

No, I don't need to play it. Two minutes into a trailer and I know that even my 12 year old son would get bored of it super quickly. How do you know this? Have you played it?
"Nintendo fans will pay for cardboard" I think it's quite clear why you are in this thread.
No, I don't need to play it. Two minutes into a trailer and I know that even my 12 year old son would get bored of it super quickly.
So you're comparing this crap to Mario Kart?
Congrats. Thats literally the shittiest take of the all.
btw. If your son likes Mario Kart he will most certainly enjoy this too. You would know this if you had actually played the game instead of trying your hardest to be biased.
Thread about game A: joins thread to talk shit about game ANo, I don't need to play it. Two minutes into a trailer and I know that even my 12 year old son would get bored of it super quickly.
Cause the game is...shit?Thread about game A: joins thread to talk shit about game A
Drifts, stunts, imaginative tracks, colorful... the comparison isn't off at all. The only thing missing are bananas and shells. So you're comparing this crap to Mario Kart?
And I had a "shittiest" take... Oh, dear.
Worst of all, he didn't play it.Thread about game A: joins thread to talk shit about game A
Pick up and play games engage differently, but they still engage. Nobody care whether they engage you except for you.Someone used artificial engagement argument here before. This game has got zero engagement power.

Meanwhile, you double down on your shitty take. Maybe I am a little old fashioned on this, but before I criticize a product made for consumption I at the very least consume the product. Everything else is biased, and frankly a useless opinion that benefits no one.
Stop projecting, buddy. The vast majority of people that played the game are positive about it, so I don't need to convince anyone, neither do I need to justify my purchase.Very true.
Oh, so you actually spent £35/$40 on this trash and now doing your best to justify the investment? Perhaps even trying to convince half of GAF it's not that bad, so you could feel slightly better about this terrible decision?
It all makes perfect sense now.

Nice, you get 7 trolls out of 10."Majority of the people are positive"
Meaning, "other idiots bought it as well but luckily they say they liked it so I don't look that stupid"
Another one brainwashed by marketingNo, I don't need to play it. Two minutes into a trailer and I know that even my 12 year old son would get bored of it super quickly.
You keep explaining to people why do you wish to spend your money (and time!) on this crap, I am going back to playing Deathloop. Kisses x
Nintendo kids and Trump voters, the world would be so different without you. Please don't ever change, otherwise life will be boring.Nice, you get 7 trolls out of 10.
On a serious note though, you can't even comprehend the fact that people enjoy the game, so you resort to insult them for it. I mean, are you 10?
No, I will take that back. 10 year olds are brighter than you any day of the week.
So, I wish you much fun withtrollingspreading your displeasure of this game you haven't even played, I will play a few rounds now though and you being mad about it makes it even better.

"Nintendo kids" "they'd pay for cardboard" what grade are you in?Nintendo kids and Trump voters, the world would be so different without you. Please don't ever change, otherwise life will be boring.
"Grade"? What's that?"Nintendo kids" "they'd pay for cardboard" what grade are you in?
"Grade"? What's that?
Don't tell me you never bought yourself a cardboard with Nintendo stickers on it?
You did? Say no more!
Two minutes into a trailer and I know that even my 12 year old son...
I'm doing my best to be faithful to my wife. Did any woman ever touch your penis stallion? How many of them did you manage to impress with your Nintendo plushie toys collection?
No woman outside of your family has ever touched your penis.
The deal is that people here don’t care about fun. What is truly important isPeople who actually played the game on this thread are saying that its fun
So whats the deal?
Funny thing is I'm sure the original cruisn cost 70 bucks on the n64. We are spoiled today. The phisical version is full price? I mean, I love old style arcade racing games... but not that much!
