I remember going to get my haircut a few years ago and seeing a guy genuinely shaking like a leaf while guzzling a 20p energy drink my hairdresser said to me “that guy is always like that, those energy drinks are terrible what do you think is wrong with him?”

Scary stuff. I drink Monsters pretty often but mostly the sugar free ones. I like them because I think much more rationally when I'm under their influence. I'm a very anxious person , on medication, and these things help my rationality. I realise I should definitely give them a miss though.

I love coffee, and I like Monsters (Ultra Zero, and the fruit juice ones are my poison of choice), but jesus, 12 cans in 10 minutes! I drink like a max of two a week now. I was doing 1 can a night when I worked overnights.

That's true for me and I should drink less.. (Coffee) But I get what Dr. Suchong says (I think) in regards to "rationally". I have ADD and caffeine, much like ADD medication, helps me in the sense that I can, for example, internally formulate my thought and communicate those way better.. If that makes sense...

I once had an assignment due so I took those caffine tablets. I had no idea how powerful they are so I popped a handful. I felt so god damn sick after that.

I like to drink a energy drink once a while. If it has a nice taste why not (zero only)

I prefer coffee though, used to drink it with a splash of milk but after a very strict diet that didn't allow dairy I had to drink it black. Nowadays I can't imagine going back to milk (although its great on some occassions)..

Sometimes I drink so much that when I play Gran Turismo my jittering serves as my ABS lol

When redbull first came out two of my mates stole a 24 pack from a place they where working thinking it was some new booze and when I called down later that evening to smoke some weed with them you'd think they where high on speed, I never laughed as much at the state of them, needless to say the come down lasted days. I've seen guys on site drink that shit morning noon and night every day and smoke constantly, some people are just born fucking stupid.

Only time I ever drink it is when on a long car trip, I'll keep a tin in the glovebox just encase I start to feel tired and need a pick me up whilst driving

Never drank Energy Drinks since they taste disgusting, I can't imagine how people stomach even one. That said, I do have a soda problem that I've been cutting down on. Water is the way before I hit my 40s in 13 years.

I'm not even a regular coffee drinker.
