A From Software X Bluepoint Demons Souls sequel would be something that would get alot of hype. They can reuse the engine from the remake but now wont be restricted with the old gameplay mechanics and make some more modern changes. To stop hardcore fans getting worried it can be a partnership project with From Software, where From take car of the gameplay and level design and art direction, while Bluepoint work on the technical stuff and get the art direction implemented.

Sorry but if it's yet another TTP cinematic story-driven experience then I couldn't yawn any harder. Give me Killzone or Resistance, either remaster, remake, sequel, prequel, just any form, and then I'll indeed lose my mind. Give me proper GT like in the good old GT1-4 times. Motorstorm or Wipeout comeback. Just anything that doesn't copy UC2/TLoU template that's tiresome already.

If people are really going to lose their f'n minds, it would have to be something bigger than some of the ideas mentioned here. What that is, I have no idea. 🤷‍♂️

I actually liked Death Stranding quite a lot, so that'd be ok. Wasn't mind blowing, but it was still pretty great. And unique!

Oh i couldn't stomach it personally , however am not a fan of Kojima games , but its personal preference . However the game i have no problem with, it was the over reaction about how revolutionary the game was and how it would change the industry going forward which got on my nerves

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it'll be a... third person cinematic action-adventure game with cover-based shooting, semi-stealth and semi-rpg elements in a pseudo open-world with a focus on motion-capture cut-scenes. And it'll be announced as a PS5 game, but then be revealed to be cross-gen title with a $10.00 upgrade, and it'll be described as "artistic", "bold" and "daring".

Ah, was that word going around? I really pay no attention to hype and haven't since a few games disappointed me in the early 2000's.

A lot of times, people give bad reviews because of being let down by hype... I'm assuming that's what happened with Death Stranding and Cyberpunk 2077. I went in with a clean / neutral slate and enjoyed both of them.

I agree though fore Cyperpunk, from what I understand, it's a bit heads or tail.By that I mean my game was buggy as hell, charactes T posing everywhere, went through the ground multiple times, drove exploded cars, fought headless characters etc....Yet my borther that has a weaker system had way less problems than me even though he downloaded the game from the same place and was at the same update as me....So I can understand why some people hate the game because I went blind from the hype but was expecting at least a functionnal game.
Which brings me the question why no media that played on pc reported these bug in their initial review do they just review games based on hyped and studio's name ?

Oh yeah, I had all of those problems too. There were glitches for sure. But I didn't have any performance issues at all, and the game itself was a lot of fun.

From my understanding, most people were mad because it wasn't an open world RPG.

Yeah performance was surprisingly good to me too.But for a immersive game all those glitches where like screaming at my face that I was playing a video game.
I couldn't get in the story when an important character was looking at me in a dinner and talking to me while a floating burger continuously punched his mouth with chewing sounds while he was talking and his hands were lying flat on the table. So I gave up the game.

It was definitely bad, and very annoying. Especially when it happened in the cinematics. There is no possible way they were unaware of this. But I liked the story and characters so much that I continued on regardless... and glad I did. It was a long and enjoyable game. Was the same with Bethesda games... their games are damn near unplayable at times but they're so engrossing that you just deal with it.

Random/crazy thought about David's Tweet.....

He frames this game as one that PlayStation are making rather than a specific studio. Is it possible it is a colab across multiple WWS teams or would that just be too much of a logistical nightmare?

Good that you liked for bethesda I would agree except for Fallout 76 that was a real piece that "just didn't worked".

Haha... I didn't even try that one. Really never viewed it as a real title for whatever reason. But New Vegas was horrible on the console (360?) when it first launched. Bugs galore. And Fallout 3 would cause serious memory lag issues on the PS3. Way more annoying than characters being out of place and their heads blowing around, like in Cyberpunk.

The one thing that did stand out in Cyberpunk was the weak AI. It felt like that tied into the bugs & glitches. They would get stuck, fall into the ground, etc. Easy pickings. Wasn't that challenging.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: PS5 Edition?

4k60 / High res textures / High poly models
"all graphical settings turn to max/ultra pretty much"

Looking as clean and nice as other games using cartoon style that exist on PS5/XBSX/PC.

Then I'd loose my mind...

It was more about the level of what the game announced need to be for my mind to be lost, then the game i chose to use as an example.
I sincerely doubt that many sony users gives 2 fucks about botw unless you were talking on a personal level.

Naughty Dog and Star Wars would go perfectly, actually. As Disney has already sanitized and diversitized the franchise to oblivion, they would feel right at home.

I can think of two, no, three things that could potentially blow my mind.

1. Metal Gear Solid remake by Bluepoint Games (Won’t happen)
2. Twisted Metal reboot (Won’t happen)
3. New IP from Naughty Dog (Will happen eventually but not in the near future I fear)

That would be cool. Naughty Dog's adventure going from planet to planet. The star wars brand will only boots its appeal.
I still think that Sony is discussing with Disney about iPs due to them owning movie rights for Spider-Man.

I expect almost everything on this subject.
