They have announced at least 3 upcoming multiplayers for Playstation. Why are you not asking the same question about Xbox single player games?

The game director of this new game was also director on Destiny at Bungie, so its probably an FPS.

Yep! I personally think Sony will be in for a rude awakening however. The PS5 is winning this console race not because of multiplayers but because of brand recognition, the power of their single players and….

The truth that people like CONCERN won’t acknowledge is that 3rd parties cover the gaps in multiplayer, etc.

I honestly can’t think of a single game that Sony can announce that will blow me away because our expectations are already extremely high.

For all the good ideas that people have mentioned and I'd like to happen, I'd quite like them to return to their arcade racers and give us a MotorStorm Remastered which includes all four of the games. I don't think enough people played these games and of course it's not simple but I don't think they'd need much of a polish anyway.
We'll Arctic Edge would need a little more work but it is a fantastic game. Also, a PS5 DriveClub remaster would be nice thanks although I do feel that's a step too far to ever get.
You want 70 Dollars? Pfft, that would be my starting bid for these games.

Yeah, but to be fair, PlayStation rarely disappoints. And they are also good at managing expectations (e.g., there will be no PSVR 2 news). If they are hyping up game announcements, I think they will bring the heat. They always do.

But if someone wants halo, Forza and Bethesda, Xbox is ok. Generally, Xbox seems more friendly to casuals or people buying it for kids with gamepass. Which is great. Xbox is finally somewhat competing

Xbox definitely needs to work on their first party library to have the critically acclaimed games like Sony to pull uses into their platform (both pc gamepass/store or the xbox console). I also think the other xbox pro is that if you are getting largely third party games, then I think the smarter place to get it is on Xbox, this however is a very niche pro. I think we have gone off-topic though.

There's an opening for a military tactical shooter that does things realistically, it's funny how that genre has only gone backwards, from the realism of SOCOM to the unrealism of hero shooters like Rainbow Six Siege.

Minecraft cause it was apart of the terms of the mojang purchase and cause it makes sense in terms of ensuring that kids are interacting with one of the biggest IP's at the time.

Old Bethesda games cause they aren't system sellers and maybe cause they have contracted external studios to do so.

2 New Bethesda (deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo) games, cause they have contractual agreements in place.

The majority of Microsoft's games are limited to Microsoft platforms and PC, will continue to be. I think we have detoured the thread enough.

The new MGS? Could be, but again, that's a well established rumour at this point.

Silent Hills/Abandoned: something along those lines, with Kojima involved, would fit the bill, and is reasonably plausible.

Sony taking on and developing Castlevania as a modern franchise? Again, would tally with his excitement. Seems like a long shot though.

Bloodborne 2? Again, would qualify. I could see Sony defo wanting to make it happen, but whether it's viable I'm not sure.

Those are the main contenders I can think of. If I had to I'd bet on it being Silent Hills.

Only way the studio stuns me is if it’s Rockstar. I’m keeping all expectations in check.

I will contend that the haptics and adaptive triggers of the Dual Sense, aside from 60FPS are the only real game changers this gen.
