Already bought Demon Slayer Digital Deluxe.
Will get the physical Judgement (have all Yakuza PS4 games and Judgement physical).
I didn't like the FedEx simulator on PS4.

Indies they showed look like something out of the app store. Death Stranding is an upgrade and Deathloop is something they already showed before. What a waste of 30 minutes. No wonder they kept insisting that “more is coming soon”. Even they know it is an embarrassment of a show.

Still deciding on PS5 or Series X copy before I preorder ...

My guess(and I haven't read up on it) that PlayStation had some kind of marketing agreement in place for Deathloop before Microsoft came callin' with "How many zeroes you need?" on the checkbook, so they are just honoring that for whatever reason.

Death Stranding looks great, but I'll wait to see what upgrade path is available, as I'm not chunking down $70.

I do hope Sony brings out the big guns with a bang, like the old E3 or PSX events, but I fear that won't happen. I feel like "Arrogant Sony" has returned, but a part of me sits and says "Well, why wouldn't it"?

PS5 systems still sell out within *seconds* no matter where they drop, or how they drop(even bundles are gone almost instantly). My best friend *still* hasn't been able to get one, not for lack of trying.

They almost don't need to do anything, but I hope they realize fans want them to do that big event again, as well as listen and respond to things folks have gripes about(VRR, etc.)

The weird thing is MS and Sony have now both featured an Arkane game as their show stopper for E3

They are a mid tier dev at best. I dont reckon they would have at all been featured like this by either party if they weren't in the odd position of making a PS5 exclusive after the acquisition

This show sucked balls. Delaying SiFu and Deathloop now looks underwhelming. Only thing that was interesting was FIST.

Lol that fucking sucked. Remember last year where they had a ton of huge announcements, many of which they lied about and said would release this year? This is a far cry from e3 2014 sony.

remember e3 2015, at the peak of their fucking game?

God i miss this playstation so much.

Just waiting for the on XCloud and PC Game Pass Day 1. Consoles next year. :messenger_grinning_sweat:
If i were Playstation i would void that contract ASAP if they could. I don't know how much they are paying Arkane for this timed exclusive but i believe that money would be better use elsewhere.

Thought it was pretty decent for what amounts to a summer showcase (mostly July-September releases). Slowest quarter traditionally, so you shouldn't expect too much.

The one for the holiday season (likely late August, early Sept) I'd expect to be much more substantial.

What time is it?
While I prefer free (duh), $9.99 is my fuck it price point for upgrades especially if they are adding content.

If their RE marketing deal is anything to go by it'd be on PS+ or Now first
It's why I think the only Microsoft could throw a spanner is by offering a 100% discount code but it would obviously to buy the game and not gain access via gamepass. I don't know if they would want to do that.

Some decent stuff I'm interested in trying like Judgement, Deathloop though is just not my thing so I'll probably pass on that. As for Deat hStranding I don't see the issue with the $10 upgrade fee if they're adding more new content really it's no different then buying DLC, if it was a straight port then yeah that would be kind of lame.

If we are talking about Sony ... then yes, upgrades are now called "Directors Cut" where on Xbox its "Smart Delivery"

the £10 deal is decent for the upgrade though as it does add enough content.
Was Gears Hivebusters a smart delivery feature?

$10 seems reasonable for existing owners of PS4 Death Stranding when you consider the new content here. New enemies, weapons, improved melee system, the shooting range, whatever racing mechanics it showed. Seems like a pretty big amount of new content besides just the enhancements the PS5 version brings. I’ll be picking up this version for $10.

That only makes sense if their goal is to spit on Sony's face or something, which is just dumb and petty when its the same game they themselves play

The difference is that sony used to show awesome indies mixed with huge megaton announcements. They complimented eachother, now they either lean all the way in either direction these days

The show was OK for what it was and meant to be, but it would've been better if the 9 minutes deathloop was filled with other games announcements.

I know it's not always easy to do but I think Deathloop would have benefited from a shorter reveal to release time frame.
Announce with some cinematic trailer, have a gameplay reveal soon after and then some final hype launch trailer all within a year or less. It looks like the sort of game that's more fun to play than to watch, should have tried to put it out there ASAP as the initial interest was still there instead of letting it slowly decline over 2 years.

Just what everybody was asking for, 2 more Battle Royale games....

What a shit showcase, I went in with minimal expectations and still am left disappointed. Best thing, and only good thing IMO was DS:DC (Only because the 10 buck upgrade). Please just stop these awful State of Plays if you have nothing of value to show off. We get it, you wasted big money on a terrible timed exclusive and need to try to recoup some of that cost by pushing DL hard, anybody with both consoles will just smartly wait for the Gamepass version to play this AA title that screams rental if I've ever seen one.

The rest of that indy crap isn't even worth discussing. The side scroller was pretty, but I want more from my next gen games then "artsy" shit like we keep getting.

Let me guess you have to pay for the death stranding directors cut if you you own the ps4 version
PS Blog says for $10 bucks you upgrade from any original Death Stranding PS4 version to the Director's Cut Digital Deluxe PS5 version.

Which is a great deal, the Director's Cut/PS5 version adds a lot of improvements and new stuff.
