Oh yeah, for sure. I was just surprised is all, haha. I don't think I've ever known anyone that has felt that way about the games, so I was like "Whoa, really?!"IMO
I don't enjoy mouse/keyboard controls in FPS games at all. Yes, AvP'99 was novelty for its time but it was still too chaotic.
AvP2 is nowhere close to dynamics of AvP'99. The lifecycle did not do anything for me as I focus more on enjoyable gameplay as you know. Mainly arcadey style.
I guess their marketing will be coordinated with publishers they cooperate with.
You don't enjoy mouse/keyboard controls in FPS games?! :O
Wild, haha.
Yeah, here's to hoping this game is solid. That's really all I'm hoping for. FINGERS CROSSED!
Can't really judge it that hard until we play it in all actuality. The Aliens brand is enough to carry it if it's solid. I mean, ever since I played L4D I wanted an Aliens game like it, it just made sense. So if it's done well, it could be really great.Looks really average and if it weren't for the Aliens branding, nobody would give a crap about this game.
Outriders, Deep Rock Galactic, L4D are all superior to this.
IMO L4D 1/2 are classics, I mean, they basically built the blue print for PVE/PVP coop FPS titles. As well as Killing Floor 1/2.
In a world where games like Vermintide 1/2, Darktide, etc. exist, there's plenty of room for a similar Aliens title. They just honestly haven't shown enough of this.
That's not new though, also not really accurate.YES! Finally someone fucking said it!
They turned xenomorph invasion into pumpkin shooter!
This takes place several years after Aliens, when colonial marines know what to fight back with and how.
Scenarios just like this have existed in the comics and novels for decades. This is just the first time we're seeing it in visual form that isn't an AVP game.
