People working on Halo, Death Stranding, TLOU2, Ghost at $10/hr is a weird hill to die on but I'm going to let you fly. I write for Lordsofgaming.net and Iron Lords Podcast and I pay my overseas artists 20-30/hr.

He doesn't know jack-shit about game-dev! So ignore his comments.,

Contrary to what most people think outsourcing isn't typically a cost-saving measure, in most instances its actually more cost-effective to do the work in-house if you can.

The reality is that the saving comes in terms of not having to rapidly staff-up in order to hit milestones, and then figure out what to do with these new personnel past the point where their involvement is no longer necessary on the project.

The key thing though is that when you outsource in games you aren't buying a discrete product. So you can't look at it as a cheap, alternate supply chain for your shitty "Mickey Mouse" T-shirts or something. What you are buying are components that are going to be used in a thing that ultimately will have your name on it.

So. Quality is important. Timeliness of delivery is super important. How the data is factored and packaged is crucial because you don't want to waste more time cleaning up or re-exporting etc. And most of all you need to be confident that anything supplied is legally cleared and not likely to drag you into a plagiarism suit.

Because of all these things, trying to go cheap tends to be avoided because it can ultimately result in waste - plain and simple.

Obviously, everyone aims to get the best deal that they can, but professionalism is important.

Came across that image again I was telling you about where Hasan = CreateQ.
00uhar23iy671.jpg

If CreateQ interactive is fake then so would be Hasan.

Note: That is the same account that’s tied to the creation of Blue Box’s three games: Rewind, The Whisperer and The Haunting, therefore proving those all to be fake too.

If there is to be an app releasing on Friday it won't be from him.

I've said it before but either he's an expert scammer or he's part of something bigger that is yet to reveal itself.

From what I found out, it almost has to be. He's not a developer thats for sure, isn't certified and has no professional background with it, he's basically nothing. A homegrown hobby dev at best. So, the fact he got a space at the PS Blog, and gets to announce a PS5 app there is actually incredible coming from this guy.

And you think he managed to dupe a massive corporation like and they’re just letting him carry on? No chance. He’s definitely part of something bigger

I wouldn't have associated them if the legit company wasn't based in The Netherlands, and it's not like Createq is a common name for a company. It's just a so weird coincidence for me to ignore it.
Btw, I only found one more company called Createq Design Solutions, but that one is based in the U.S and of course has nothing to do with this.
Scan and get closer.

I tried scouring that image. I looked at it in notepad. Changed all the saturation, hue levels.

Nada.

Karaman is 10000% a real legit guy by the way. I can't go into details for privacy reasons, but the known available information is correct and not conjured up.
Ok, thanks Kojima!

Ad guys, let's channel our #TeamReal energy, cause we aren't just hoping for a new Silent Hill, there's also the cleanest, most perfect pink butthole to be shown once we are right. And that may be the hidden gem of this ARG.

I would say so; his personality and talking style + eye contact + small facial movements, coupled with his studio-like clean background suggests that he could indeed be a model.
A model for what exactly? I live in the Netherlands and watch tv. Never seen him anywhere. You would think that by using his name you would easily access his portfolio online. That’s what actors/models do to get work.

Thats what I try to say. I don't know what you need to get your stuff promoted at the PS Blog, if he's acting on his own accord then they have a really, really low bar to enter. Because he's absolutely nothing more than a hobby dev, which lines up with his Steam history. I even doubt Blue Box exists, I think it doesn't aside from the fact he registered it and made some homebrew shit. Its just a name, it has no trading, no employees and no office space. He's alone.

I think we'd see a lot more crap on the PSBlog it it was that easy

SH or Kojima or not doesn't even interest me anymore. I think they would create another fake guy for it and not use a real one with the risk of being harassed etc (or at least use a fake name, because this guys identity is real). What I want to know is how this guy got this far, how did he get Sony to promote him? I hope its a con story.

Sorry but I’m team skeptic today. Hassan is just a stoner dev who gets shit done since 2014. He did a really poor move with the S________L tease and a couple of other “wink-winks” to get visibility. And now the train is unstoppable.

That's the thing, he is no where to be found on the internet in a meaningful way e.g., linkedin, artstation etc. He could be a very obscure known model/ actor or an acquaintance of one of Kojima's studio members. Also, don't think his name actually is Hasan Kahraman.

His name is actually Hasan Kahraman. The guy is absolutely real, as are his whereabouts. There is no question. Its the lack of his pedigree and development experience thats puzzling.

By the way, love to see this professional clown “review” Abandoned’s forest asset pack when the trailer was released. If anyone was following him for pro insight, please don’t:

SO MUCH DETAIL!

Think I stopped watching him around the release of that video as well

Did you see his ID ?

Konami/Sony/Kojima would have distanced from this by now specially if it's a scam.

It doesn't add up.
They are distancing themselves by remaining quiet and letting the sideshow die. Any statement would just fuel the conspiracies, no?

There are plenty of shitty games being released for the PS5. Look at all the crap Outbreak games that are bottom tier resident evil clones. Can’t this just be another one?

Oh look, a PS Blog post for the lowest of the low in Resident Evil clones:

Konami selling Tees... they love money, people love merch (especially SH around now) a match made in heaven. That isn't a sign for shit for pointing to a game, the only sign it could be is Konami loves cashing in on people's hype. There could be a remaster collection coming soon. Or even there is a whole new game in the works, it is not what BBG is working on. Why people think if Konami is doing T-shirts and skateboards all of a sudden is a CLEAR sign FOR our friends in Blue Box Games, and not anyone else, like Bloober, Bluepoint.. etc?

Have you guys looked at all the comments the BB Twitter accounts likes? All comments of people saying they’re looking forward to the game for what it is (i.e., not SH related).

Oh, I remember this one. Previously it was that untitled_horror Twitter page (now gone) with that weird video and the hidden message.

And they also replied to @BBGameStudious

And 204863 is from P.T.

Why tag E3? Isn't it over already? PSX event, whenever it happens, won't be part of E3.

This dev got a PS Blog post, that got attention instantly because it was labeled a PS5 exclusive.. Geoff's follow likely happened because of that blog post, which was posted to Twitter, and he responded to. Not remotely far fetched.

So were saying that the PS Blog post was a big platform to get the attention of industry big wigs like Geoff. So that begs the initial question you're casually trying to hand wave away which why a no name, failure dev that's working out of his bedroom with his mates and buying assets to flip got such a big platform in the 1st place. Likes that totally normal right???

geoff keighley, someone we can confidently call an industry expert, himself said that BlueBox was getting "pretty good placement from Sony" and that he "couldn't figure" out how an indie dev like him who "no one had heard of" managed to get that. But yeah it's totally normal according to some on here apparently...

The dev then reached out for maybe being included in summer games fest.. a dev that Geoff thinks is making a legit PS5 exclusive.. so he saves it off potentially for later to see if the game could get a spotlight. Not remotely far fetched. Lots of people use screenshots to organize information. I do it in chats, because people do things like give me their email or address and I'm on my phone and just save a screenshot, and then favorite it.

This makes no sense at all. Geoff said that he sent him a message asking to be featured on SGF. Geoff said he didn't get back to him for "awhile" but did eventually DM him back and say "cool I'm open to talk to you about it".

So when this entire shit storm is going down and if he's got nothing to hide, rather than go to his DMs and take a fresh screenshot of the conversation he's had with Hasan that includes his reply, he instead uses the old screenshot that he bizarrely took instantly as soon as Hasan messages him ages ago that he happened to have saved on his phone all this time... Do you honestly think that's a rational course of action? Are you seriously telling me that in a normal situation if someone asked you to provide a screenshot of a conversation you wouldn't just open up twitter and take a fresh screenshot of the convo if you had nothing to hide?

This is how teamreal vs teamfake feels like right now

I've got to say, no matter what happens this Friday, this ride has been amusing as all hell.

I'm still #TeamReal....the fact that Sony, Konami and Kojima Productions have been so coy is still very interesting to me. If this thing really wasn't what we think it is and this guy is a scammer then surely everyone involved would have distanced themselves by now. But the fact that they're all being so coy about it (Keighley included) is interesting to me...either everyone is having a laugh at the internet's expense; or the guy is a scammer and is having a laugh at us all as this blows up; or it's Joakim all over again :D

No matter what happens...it's been quite the amusing ride none the less.

I'm hoping its #TeamReal just because it would be an awesome troll if everything was true.

Perhaps he lucked out in some way, and after friday will be delisted if he doesn't deliver anything. What you claim makes sense though, as you say he's a bedroom developer. Info I saw confirmed it, his studios is a home address, he has no employees, no trading. Hes not known in the dutch developer community at all, he has no certificate or anything. He's a hobbyist that created some very amateur hour horror stuff on Steam. At least, thats what I can make of it. And yes, he's featured on Playstation. And worse yet, his logo is nearly plagiarism.

I still think he's like 0% affiliated with Hideo or whatever. But those are the things raise questions for me.

One thing I can think of is that Sony simply bought into his UE rip off trailer.

Care to explain this then?

Yeah, and not liked his tweets.
Likely their PR representative is in a coma and the Marketing intern claimed the twitter and store fronts for himself. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

I'll just go with random speculation and I think my final prediction will be if the "app" does release on Friday, replete with something that doesn't make a lot of sense for what it supposedly is, it'll be followed up by Sony's event announcement.

The rumor I had seen floating around had it on the 28th of June or the 8th of July. I don't know how likely it'd be they'd wait until Friday to announce a Monday event(short turnaround) but who knows these days, especially if it's pre-recorded.

If the app does release, it won't reveal shit, just more questions than answers... and more rabbit holes. That was basically said already.

My thoughts, if this is #TeamReal, things were let out of the bag a hair too early with that tweet and they once again underestimated the power of nerds and their weaponized autism to sleuth the far reaches of the internets.

Jason Schrier said he asked Sony and Konami (and I think even Kojima) for comment and they did not respond.

Their coyness speaks two things to me.

1.) They're hiding something and this is all gonna add up to what we think it is.
2.) They're not saying anything because they themselves aren't even sure what's going on with this Hasan guy and don't want to jump the gun in making any sort of statement that could backfire on them?

But my gut is still leaning towards #1....they know something and their coyness speaks volumes.
