Lost Odyssey.

I remembered my brother playing it years ago and really liking it, and it was one of the JRPG's in my backlog. I'm now just over 13hrs in (finished the first disc) and it's been fantastic. I haven't played a JRPG in probably a decade, but this has ignited my interest again, and I'll probably be adding a few more older JRPG's to my list to play in the nearer future. I forgot how much I like methodical turn-based combat. It's funny how my gaming interests come and go in an ebb and flow.

I reached chapter 18 in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Hoping to beat it later. I feel like none of the additions that they have added to the game makes it better than the original. Had I bought this, I would have been less forgiving, but I got the game via PS+. I neither love it nor hate it. It's a 6,5-7/10 jrpg for me.

Completed Dead Rising yesterday.

Game was alright but fuck me if I didn't see my initial playthrough from the 360 through rose tinted glasses. Has some bloody annoying aspects to it. Especially the overtime mode was stupid. Once the military shows up NOTHING else is going on in the game (no more survivors or psychos, no more calls from Otis). You literally have to wait like 2-3 real life hours for the helicopter to show up for the story to continue. What a joke.

Bought Hercules on GoG a few days ago and finished it today basically in one quick run.

Nostalgia overload. Miss those little quirky Disney movie tie-in games for consoles. Guess it's just too expensive for consoles now.

I set up my PS2 this morning before work. So, tonight, the plan is to revisit Persona 3. It's such an amazing JRPG. I miss the characters and want to experience it again. When I have the cash to spare, I should really pick up Persona 4. ❤️

i just started Persona 3 FES on my old PS2 Slim the other week. i posted in here (seems my photo is gone...)

i've never played it before. i played a little of Persona 4 Golden on Vita/Steam. played Persona 5/Royal/Strikers on PS4/PC. i have Persona 4 for PS2 too. once i'm done with 3 i'll start 4 but i'm not sure if i should play the original or Golden. i know Golden is probably the better version so maybe do that first then if i ever want to go back I'll play the PS2 version.

i haven't played since the Morrowind expansion came out.

i wouldn't mind getting back into it but haven't seen how much it'll cost to get everything up to date.

Just bought the game on discount a week ago for 25 bucks or something, did dumped 75 euro's worth of crown into it tho on top of it. as i wanted something new didn't expect much from it, as i give zero shits about story's in games and elder scroll universe is really not interesting to me. but got me hooked pretty darn good. absolute well made mmo lots of players on top of it.

So yea no clue how to upgrade or to what in this game, i guess u can buy the greymoore upgrade which probably gives you everything for 29 bucks, but there new blackwood expansion is releasing in a month or so or two months. so there is that also. still gotta buy that myself.

But the game has no monthly fee really that u need to pay to play the game, so i really like that part. Even while there subscription is useful for some people its far from needed.

Wanted to originally do some wow pvp in classic for a few days or something, but ended up hitting a 25 euro wall i had to pay to get gametime for there game as they don't sell a month anymore, so basically bailed on that adventure.

Playing mega man x, never beat it. I've made it through the ice penguin and spark mandrill so far. I'm not looking up the boss order so it's been pretty intense.

I'm playing mega man alongside atelier ryza.. corny and relaxing girl game that I'm playing with my wife on pc & switch.. not multiplayer of course, we just pick up rocks and sticks and talk about what we're alchemizing.

Shining Force [Sega Genesis] - My first ever play thru. Its all about Bleu the baby dragon. Just one of those games (and series) I always wanted to play but never got around to till now. Absolutely loved it from start to finish. Some of the coolest characters in gaming. Not sure if im going straight into the sequels but Ive heard they only get better.

Hot Shots Golf Fore! [PS2] - Still unlocking shit 15 years later. My fav golf game of all time. So many courses.

Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast [Original Xbox] - As good as gaming gets in my eyes. Recently got my original xbox back up and running with some custom component cables thru the ossc - looks beautiful.

Otogi [Original Xbox] - Really liked this one but is nearly ruined by its awful last boss BS. I was able to clear it though. Strange weird and unique.

Huge souls fan but wasn't feeling Nioh 1 when it came out. Tried Nioh 2 for the PS5 version in March, then sunk 220 hours in the game.. It is my favorite souls game now.

PS: the cross save auto-popped most trophies for PS4 version, really neat.

Still playing Yakuza Zero. I think I put about 50+ hours so far. On chapter 7, doing Majima's Kyabakura business... and I've laughed out a few times already. That special platinum cast training, was more enjoyable than trying to score a girl mindlessly like in previous Yakuza games on PS2 and PS3 - and am really enjoying playing and growing the cast members. (Currently on final Moon stage, working on maxing out the cast members that I have.)

I can see why people are saying that Zero is superior. I wasn't expecting much, and frankly a bit bored in the beginning - but so far it's really panning out and story's pretty gripping on both Majima and Kiryu side. (Although Kiryu's Real Estate game is little too passive for me).

Also weapon searching. I wish I could see which areas I visited and which ones are new. The new ones only come up once and go away as soon as you go out of the menu or search one area. Some minor niggles, and some camera/collision detection is sometimes annoying - but otherwise an excellent game. Loving it.

How many kidneys did you have to sell to acquire it?
And were they all yours?
Theres actually people on ebay that sell re-purposed Xbox 360 component cables converted to an original Xbox component cable. From what I understand its not all that difficult of a soldering job. I ordered one with fingers crossed and trust me - they work. Just find a trustworthy seller who sold 100s of them. It was around $35 USD. The official ones go for $100+.

Unless you're talking about the Outrun 2 Coast to Coast game itself - then in that case I bought it on release in 2006 :)

Just started playing Resident Evil 7 and couldn’t stop playing for four hours. It’s already one of the best survival horror games I’ve played in years. Reminds me of Condemned: Criminal Origins, which is a nice surprise. Such an intense experience, and a nice switch up from the previous games. It’s on GamePass, but I’m considering buying the gold edition on sale for $20.

Its good but they could have done a lot more nailing the 1988 vibe...otherwise it looks like your in a world of 1998...

That's awesome, mate :messenger_beermugs:. I'm envious and I wish that I could have my first run through P3 all over again. How far into it are you?

i haven't actually played recently as been working more hours the last week or so. anyway, i remember i just entered Tartarus for the first time (so 4/20 i think). hoping to play abit more this week. it's not my main focus. i'm playing Persona 5 Strikers on PC right now so maybe when i'm done with that i'll play nothing but Persona 3 for a while.

Took PS Now 1 week trial to play the Avengers but just can't. I really wanted to like it but all the walk/run a linear corridor, jump/grab the wall sequences are so very boring. It is not the linearity - Mass Effects had that too - but how you fill it.

Also the game has weird logic when it comes to superheroes. One single small robot can damage Hulk? Or they are able to shoot him down? Or some shield stops Hulk from grabbing them?

I thought I'd enjoy at least the campagn but nope.

Back to Tropico 6 and Animal Crossing for me. Idk if there's anything else coming in the near future, other than Mass Effect.

Just finished Mafia Definitive Edition. Breath of fresh air being an older game. All story really - no gear or experience or stats etc. Just a bunch of missions that tell a story.

Started Pandora’s Tower now on Wii (playing on Wii U VC)
