It was not. They never had any platform logo in their website. It was announced with Xbox, PS and PC logos on their website.

Why waste the exclusive announcements now when nobody can even buy a console?Yeah you see this is what happens when the PR is crap and leave some room for personal interpretations.
Until they’ve announced the exclusivity plans for each game people will keep on buying PS5 instead of XSX even if Bethesda is their favorite dev. Because why wouldn’t they?
Well spent 7 billion dollars!
nope:It was announced with Xbox, PS and PC logos on their website.
From what I remember yes... all logos were removed in September 2020 and that is when a lot of MS sites put the news as the game becoming exclusive because the logo was removed (makes se se imo).never saw that, are you sure?
That is after they removed all logos in September 2020 lol
I did.Just Google Starfield PlayStation Logo.
Am I allowed to say "I told you so", yet?
Seems like a direct confirmation that they are going to take a mixed, tapered approach going forwards.
Nobody knows if id’s and MG’s games are among those ”some” games that’ll be exclusive.I have an odd question:
Will MachineGames and id Software be forced to drop Vulkan for DX12 on PC going forward?
That is after they removed all logos in September 2020 lol
Just Google Starfield PlayStation Logo.
No, you are not. We still don't have any new information.Am I allowed to say "I told you so", yet?

When you start to make a game you enter in touch with the big platforms to receive devkits and help to develop that game... big AAA games rely a lot on that... so there is some contract/deal to release in that platform before the purchase the it is not usual to break or even try to cheese that contract. What are you talking about.... you can't have contracts with yourself... That is literally what you are suggesting. Starfield and TES VI (which is really really far away) don't have any contracts in place in relation to marketing or such.
If you think you're playing Elder Scrolls VI on your PS5 I have a 3DO M2 to sell you.

Nobody knows what type of deals/contratar these game have in place.
The only think we can believe is that new announces will be decided by Microsoft themselves and I’m sure they will be all exclusives.
Games announced before the acquisition is still in the maybe case for both sides.
They had way before that.. even if they don’t own one they have access to devskits via 3rd parties. So Microsoft now have sony devekits to pull apart
They had way before that.. even if they don’t own one they have access to devskits via 3rd parties.
I believe both Sony and MS knows way before us the specs of each system... that include low level specs that we don’t know.... things like Sony upping the amount of RAM at last moment is not usual
In the industry.
Because people decide what to buy long before they’re opening the wallet. Why waste the exclusive announcements now when nobody can even buy a console?
These NDAs doesn’t hold the specs leaking to public... so do you believe it holds MS or Sony to know each other?Nah third parties will have signed contracts to not let that happen
Subsequently, question is, does some mean at least one? One classic example of word misinterpretation occurs with some. As we discuss in our LSAT Courses and in our Logical Reasoning Bible, some means at least one, possibly all. While most people understand the at least one part, it is the possibly all portion that surprises them.
Same reason why DF comparison videos get more traction than OTs for games. People prefer to argue instead of actually discussing games. Why is this seven pages?
Because people decide what to buy long before they’re opening the wallet.
You can ask the same thing for games -
Why waste announcements for upcoming games when the games aren’t ready yet?
MS needs to build some hype. They’re just sitting there silently like fools wondering why they’re at the last spot each month in sales figures.
Exactly ^Same can be said for Sony and Nintendo. Not releasing their first party games on Xbox and PC is leaving too much money on the table.
Basically, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Xcloud was capable of running on the PS5 browser.Gamepass will soon work on all common devices like TVs, phones, tablets etc.
But that is not a concern for Bethesda. Its Microsoft's concern.Glad I have a PC. But I really don't think the heavy hitters will be Xbox exclusives until maybe next-gen. I feel like Bethesda made that part of their agreement because they knew PS5 would 2 to1 Xbox in sales. At least.
And even if exclusive announcements are made this gen, it will push some PS fans to the PC side. I would wager many have already been considering it anyway, and not only that, most Bethesda games aren't demanding to run so it won't take much.
These NDAs doesn’t hold the specs leaking to public... so do you believe it holds MS or Sony to know each other?
I stand in what I said... MS and Sony knows and even have access to each other DevKits way before the public get to know about them.
The fact MS early marketing telling the Xbox being the most powerful console tells you a lot about what they knew and they just changed after realize the PS5 could do better even with lower specs.
MS and Sony knows since beginning that Xbox will have the raw power advantage.
Why is this seven pages?
do you really believe that MS would remove already released games from other platforms? Like people bought doom Elternal last year and can’t play the Games anymore?
You can still play the old Bethesda games on other platforms of course. No matter what happens!
But those old games will play best on Xbox, e.g. fallout will get double the FPS soon.
They could say Doom 3, ghostwire and deathloop will not be exclusive but all other games are. Vague is when you don't know the specifics and this is. "Some games will be exclusive" is 100% vague. When we finally know the specifics there will be meltdowns in any case.I don't think its vague at all.
Do you think they are going to say Bethesda will be fully exclusive from now? They ar still making Doom 3 PSVR, Ghostwire and Deathloop. And lord knows what else they have that was signed as multiplatform long ago (Indiana Jones?).
I bet my left nut on this yesterday that MS won't make a definitive statement.Am I allowed to say "I told you so", yet?
Seems like a direct confirmation that they are going to take a mixed, tapered approach going forwards.
The actual 2 collections that have been leaked through ESRB ratings are only rated for Xbox Series consoles (last gen copies our already but no PS5 update)In dev games originally planned as multiplatform releases with significant work done- probably multiplatform, probably exclusive, these are really all that is up in the air at the moment.
Mmo/service games - multiplatform
Remasters/collections - multiplatform
Deals already in place will follow their obligations.
Brand new games- exclusive.
You aren't going to see xbox printing console sellers for their competitors going forward. As time passes and more exclusives are announced, Bethesda games only being on Xbox and pc will be the norm. It's not that hard to understand what is going on here. If you want the next doom, dishonored, elder scrolls, wolfenstein etc. You won't get them on Playstation or Nintendo. Also, just because something is leaving the xbox/pc space doesn't necessarily mean it's coming to a Playstation. Xbox has been known to have stronger ties with Nintendo and stuff like cup head or ori coming to switch but not Playstation indicates Playstation could be left out in the cold entirely.
MS will make Sony pay a small fortune on every game going to ps5.
I thought MS wouldn’t have exclusives because they needed to recoup that $7.5b they invested in this deal. That’s what Sony GAF told me.
Why? They have a small install base and their exclusives are synonymous with their systems. These games aren’t halo, they’re all available elsewhere.Same can be said for Sony and Nintendo. Not releasing their first party games on Xbox and PC is leaving too much money on the table.
Yes but this is the worst outcome for Game Pass. MS need to be explicit on what's exclusive and what is not exclusive. Otherwise they will be plenty of gamers waiting instead opting to sign up to Game PassIt's a good way to build hype, every game from now on people will be on tenterhooks waiting to see if it's coming to Playstation or not.
That makes no sense... if MS ask the most powerful and So y ask the most powerful... which one will be most powerful? They wouldnt acutally have a hands on dev kit, as for spec obvs they will know when they ask AMD to produce what they want. It’s easy for AMD to say this is the most powerful chip we put in a console without sony/microsoft actually seeing anything
They will trickle them out over time. Them announcing the acquisition a day before pre-orders went up was not a coincidence. Once supply can keep up with demand they will start announcing specific exclusive titles. I still think there is one big exclusive slated for this year from them.Because people decide what to buy long before they’re opening the wallet.

Not the same. Doom, Starfield and Elder Scrolls were never "their games" as much as people want to rewrite history and call them "Microsoft games".When it comes to Xbox, MS should make all of their games multiple platform to make everyone happy, while Sony and Nintendo do the exact opposite....
That makes no sense... if MS ask the most powerful and So y ask the most powerful... which one will be most powerful?
MS and Sony each own specs way before they announced it.
