Persona 5 Royal.. about 155 hrs into it. Currently about to wrap it up as I'm in mid January.
1st play thru... although it's technically 3rd play thru as I played vanilla P5 twice.
Most likely achieve Platinum on 1st play, but thinking about completing the Thieves Den awards - so will most likely add another 70-80 hours.

After this, will most likely move onto Ys9 or P5 Strikers.

I have been playing a game called 'Neoverse'.
I liked playing Gwent in The Witcher 3 and I like pretty girls, so I thought I'd like this too - and I did.

You can only get the above outfit if you buy the DLC costume and take a bunch of damage (your armor breaks). Also, as you progress through the game you unlock currency to buy cosmetic and game changing items for your characters. Thats why the chick in the gif is wearing glasses. It gives her +1 action points at the start of every round IIRC.
There are 3 different characters (A ninja girl with a gun and radiation sword, an armored knight girl who uses prayers for power - and is a also a vampire and finally a summoner type girl, who can summon a white lion, a dragon and a griffin. All good in different situations).
The game seemed very hard to me at first, but as I got familiar with the interface, rules and language, it became easier. The final boss though, can be very hard (especially with the summoner girl, as she lacks burst damage). Good game.

Moving towards the end at Dark Souls 3.

Beat the nameless king yesterday. The fight was epic as shit. Struggled for quite a while with my greatsword (it just take too long to swing and the breaks in his attacks are too short for that) but then switched to my ol‘ Claymore +10 and took him down after a handful of tried. Sweat was drippin due to all the dodging.

Finished Mafia II Definitive Edition,it was ok but an awful remaster....graphical glitches, bugs and a shitty framerate while driving around and I'm not even sensative to this stuff usually....if that was the definitive edition I would have loved to have seen the original version!
Now for the third Mafia.

I bought Borderlands 3 during the latest sale (20€ on Humble for the Ultimate Edition, lulz pricing mistake anyone?).

It started off a bit too heavy on the "strong, independent wahmen vs evil, incompetent and greedy males" (on both sides), although I'm not sure it wasn't really like that in the prior instalments already and it's just the current climate on social media making me too conscious of it, but it's gotten better ever since Troy started growing a pair, we got introduced to Wainwright Jakobs (who probably deserves an official Certificate of Badassery signed by Mister Torgue himself by now), Rhys shaved off his siegepornstache, and best of all, I haven't heard from Vaughn in a very long while.

Also, the guns are cool.

It‘s amazing but it drops quite heavily towards the end imo. Too much shooting.
Many will disagree, but that's one of the things about Bioshock that I hated. They had crafted this beautiful environment that was so difficult to enjoy because of the constant respawning enemies. The scripted encounters in Infinite are much better.

Ace Combat 7 (PC)

I haven't played an aerial fighter since Airforce Delta on the Dreamcast, this is superb fun at the moment. I'm only two or three missions in but what a buzz swooping over the ground at 1000mph and bombing the shit out of ground targets and then taking out a few choppers and jet fighters immediately after. So easy to pick up and it looks glorious too, does the PS4 version have full VR missions? I could only imagine how cool they are, I might double dip on this one.

It's quite awesome isn't it! ♡

Regarding your question, sadly no. We're talking about 3 (base game, season pass got 2 or 3 missions or so added. You'll have to verify) stand-alone missions (which are pretty bareboned one can say) and have easy/medium/hard difficulties attached to them..

With that said it was my number one reason to purchase my PSVR ( next to GTSports, Rez, Re7, Tetris etc) and holy moly; for a stand alone base experience it's sooo awesome..

Fuck installing AC7 again lol :3

Ghost of Tsushima
Little Nightmares 2
Immortals: Fenyx Rising

I also have a bunch of games on the back-burner like the Sly Collection, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Miles Morales, Cyberpunk, Demon's Souls and a few others. I have enough games and more to keep me occupied until May and beyond.

Astral Chain. Good game with shades of greatness when combat is involved. I appreciate them trying to tie up the police theme with gameplay (mediocre) but it’s super clear that combat is Platinum’s forte.
Nearing the ending from what I gather, and it has been a fun ride

I’m really glad I decided to give Persona 5 Royal a second chance. One of the best RPGs of last gen. I just finished it last night and feel like I lost my friends now that it’s over. One of the best OSTs of all time and super stylish graphics. Great to play a modern turn based RPG as well. Once I get back from vacation I’ll definitely look into P5Strikers as well.

edit: just looked online and apparently I missed a bunch of things like a whole new final dungeon, but at least everything carries over in new game plus so I can tackle it all next play through (wanted to go in blind this time).

I am currently playing Super Mario 3D world + bowsers fury, the medium and cyber shadow.

I never played the mario game back on wii u, it is fun but it has to be my least favorite mario game. I really dislike the camera angles because the jumping can easily be misleading.

The medium is a nice refresher and feels like a casual horror game compared to the re or sh franchises.

Cyber shadow is a nice new hot take, it just keeps getting more difficult for me near the end. I have 2 chapters left to complete it.

Lastly, I started Super Metroid and I'm loving it so far. I plan to start Far Cry 5 soon(been going through the whole franchise).

Just arrived at big boy Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls 3.

Doesn‘t seem tooooo hard. Already made it to his 2nd phase. He got some mean combos there but I think I should be able to beat him tomorrow.

I‘m curious what‘ll happen first... me beating him and with that clearing my backlog or my PS5 arriving. :messenger_sunglasses:

Just got my very first number 1 podium place on a GTSports online race! Very happy about it haha..

But yeah, been playing the above mentioned GTS, SMW3D (very nice) and some Dirt 2.0 here and there; great stuff.

My main rotation at the moment is bloodborne, the surge, cook serve delicious2, pinball fx 3, darkest dungeon, nier automata (that arenas dlc), control (which I keep falling it of since I bought it) and apex legends which occupies most of my time.

Frankly apex had just been the gift that keeps on giving, even if I kinda suck at it.

In the middle of Stalker: Call of Pripyat.

The first two were great, but the much larger levels in this one really make Stalker shine. This has me more excited about the new one coming out which is supposed to be a very large open world.

I’m playing through P5 Strikers, and my current multiplayer game is Insurgency: Sandstorm.

I also need to finish HL: Alyx.

Booted up Resident Evil 3. I appreciate Capcom trying to make these remakes feel very much like the old school Resi games, but with modern graphics and gameplay attached to them. You got storage boxes, typewriters and cozy music in the safe rooms. The game also looks and sounds fantastic, just like Remake 2, and oozes with atmosphere. I hope it turns out good in the end because imo Nemesis is the weakest entry in the PSX-trilogy. But Jill is fan favorite so any entry with her is a plus. She's pretty damn hot here 😍

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Still going through Dragon Quest VI. The beggining is slow but after 12 hours it has grabbed me just like IV and V did.

I kinda regret not having played this earlier but at the same time I'm glad to be able to ply another one of those cool remakes. The graphics are really charming imo, specially the really well done battle enemy animations.

I recently stumbled upon a decent deal for the entire collection of BioShock games, this is my first entry into the series and so far I am going through the first game, I am enjoying my time with it.

Started up Pokemon Platinum again due to the wave of nostalgia and hype around the announcements for Pokemon Direct.
Also playing Persona 5 Strikers on the side.

Just met my first hunter. Great call back to original Resident Evil. Hunters have never looked so good. So far is the game is decent. Lots of great set pieces but short on scares.

Hyrule Warriors, Age of Calamity.
Liking it a lot more than the first one, but it sure would be nice if it didn't run at 20 fps

Sunset Overdrive.
Only a couple of hours in but so far it's fun. The overall style and humor isn't really my thing, but the actually gameplay is fun

Nioh 2!

It's excellent so far. So much better than the first which I didn't get on with.

The combat in nioh was always more varied than the soulsborne games. It just lacked the level design quality of them.

Currently playing Warlords of NY expansion on Division 2 on PS5.

Up next will be the next-gen updated version of Mortal Shell also on PS5.

Just finished up Shovel Knight: King of Cards. Best of the campaigns, great game.

I was lucky enough to get my order through and have a PS5 coming this week so in the near future I plan on playing God of War 2018 and some other PS4 enhanced games.

To get me through the week I looked for a short game, going to play Transistor and then see if there is any time in between for another quick game.

Kingdom Come Deliverance

Amazing game, it feels so fantastic to play and everything you achieve feels earned. Waiting is a great thing. The graphics on a 3080 are amazing and there are almost no bugs now, I already played for 100+ hours and there was pretty much nothing up until now.
