Ok guys I just made a big mistake, I went to Era to see how they feel about cyberpunk because the game is pretty damn good, but first thread was about CDPR is a transphobic company, I’m just like did they play the game? Omg I don’t think I’m go back on that site again.

Thank fuck for DLSS otherwise. It's magic how it can make a 2060 run this with everything at high except for RT which is at medium at 1080p and still get acceptable framerates.

Yeah I have an RTX 2060 as well, and with dlss enabled I've got all the settings on Ultra/High, and I'm hovering between 50 to 60 FPS on my 1440p monitor. It's crazy.

Spent a few hours with the game now, and it's something else. There is so much going on, with large crowds, brawls starting up, cars crashing, your phone going off, V calling you... that it just becomes very convincing and immersive. Going through the story is going to be fun, but I want to savour it and enjoy the world. Think I should start doing side activities.

Also, the game looks really good. I wish we had an easier way to hide the HUD during gameplay.

People playing on PS5. How are the visuals + performance?

Performance on PS5 is not stable 60. When there's lots going on like the market with lots of NPCs it easily dips into the low 50s (this is how I perceive it). It's defo playable, but I'd prefer a 30fps cap with a higher resolution, as the game looks very soft thanks to the TAA or whatever they use to clean up the aliasing. It pretty much reminds me of RDR2 on PS4 Pro.

Presentation is solid, character shadows (especially self shadows) can look bad in some cases as they're low res, same for some textures especially on vending machines and some ads... but this is pretty much normal for most games this late in the generation on the old consoles. I expected the pop-in (fade-in is a much more fitting term here) to annoy me much more, but to be honest I hardly notice when I play for myself. It was more noticeable when watching others play on YouTube.

I had one crash in the 5 hours I've played.

I would actually recommend it if you have a PS5 and if you are okay with the soft look.

So what is the consensus on Cyberpunk? Does this game end up pandering to the liberal left? I know a lot of the guys on that reeeeetarded forum were planning a mass boycott given how 'transphobic' CD Project Red supposedly are, but it would be refreshing for a developer to produce a game according to their own vision, instead of the whims and desires of a vocal minority which pushes conformity in everything.

I like it! Art design rules and game runs very smoothly for a last gen port. Some PS4 era textures but this is the last gen version, it’s only going to look better from here and that’s very exciting!

Click on "Screenshots" under the "View" tab on Steam and it'll take you to your screenshots. That's assuming you took them using Steam.

lol. I'm like the opposite of a graphics whore but even I know this is bs.

Note I’m taking the console (XSX) version. PC versions looks pretty nice from watching some videos. Console versions are pretty rough looking IMO. If you think it looks good on consoles, more power to you., to each their own and all that jazz.

it’s not hampering my enjoyment really, but defintley looking forward to replaying after the next gen upgrade patch is out next year.

1. in character creation when picking a voice it will give pronouns for MALE and FEMALE. all it's really saying is characters will decide your gender based on your voice. no options for "it" or "they".
2. for genitals you can pick: none, vagina, penis 1, penis 2. so basically: underwear, vagina, small penis, large penis. for breast i think there are 3 options (small, medium, large).
3. in game ads might upset some people because they are heavily sexualised and of course there is the infamous one of a person with female appearance having a penis.

so far that's the only things i've seen that might upset certain people on a certain site.

Apparently there is some controversy over circumcision, but no matter what it is, it wouldn't bother me (being circumcised) in the slightest.

Righ there in Video: you can choose between Quality and Performance. Performance is pretty ugly so I went Quality. It's not like it's a fast-paced shooter anyway.

Ok. I must have missed it. I did click in the left stick for HDR options. Didn't mess with that too much. I'll put it on quality then, if it isn't already. But I assume the default is performance.

Anyone know how to level Athletics? Six hours in, only 22 exp. I believe i got it when i do a slide, but hundreds of slide after that yield no exp at all. Been sprinting and vaulting all over the place too

Actually for penis the two types are uncircumcised and circumcised and then there’s the size toggle for each.

That's DLSS doing its thing. It sharpens/upscales shit it knows you're looking at (your car) and shit that you're most likely not going to be giving much attention is selectively downgraded, that's how it 'magically' gives such a huge FPS boost.
