Imran Khan(Kinda Funny): Silent Hill rumors are credible

Maxwell Jacob Friedman

leads to fear. Fear leads to xbox.
On the last Kinda Funny Gamecast, the hosts gives their bets on what could be revealed at the Game Awards.

Imran is asked his thoughts on SH rumors and he says that it's credible, and he also knows that the people supossed to be doing this project are doing something, he just don't know if it is Sillent Hill or something eles.

He also added that Silent Hill is either fake or the announcement is being pushed back for some reason(And it could happen at TGA of course).

What a clown. 😂

I swear, Kinda Funny has become nothing but unproven rumormongering, sensationalism, silly overhyping thumbnails, and politics nowadays. You'd think with all the money they make off Patreon, they could afford to be a little less desperate for views.

He’s also the one that said Sony has huge timed exclusive and acquisition deals coming before launch, right? And the biggest we’ve seen is timed exclusive FF?

....That's stupid. How can you say something is credible and then immediately say maybe it's not right after? That basically removes any possibility that what you said is in fact credible, lol.

That being said, I still want to believe. I'm just never allowing myself to get excited about anything without actual proof.

Sony do need something like this to counter MS buying out Zenimax. Getting game rights to Konami's IP(Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill) would be insane.

Not really. They showed you a slate of games that are releasing in the first 12 months of the consoles release. Anything else is icing on the cake honestly. Microsoft showed you a bunch of cgi trailers for games that literally are still years away.

Microsoft buying zenimax was going to happen or someone else was going to buy them. They were shopping around for the last year or so. ANd this was basically a done deal from what I know a while ago like pre-covid talks/contracts were all but finished. Final price was being negotiated this year, and I think the surprise for me was the asking price for zeni, the fact they bought them for 7.5billion was a shocker in terms of in my opinion what their properties are worth.

They wanted to use this as big mic drop moment. But honestly it was a big moment, but not the impact I think they wanted it to have. I think they wanted to announce this on the cusp of Halo infinite launching along side the games coming to gamepass from bethesda buyout.

Sony has shown people what they are getting for the next year in terms of software. ANything else they do at this point is a big bonus.

That was Starfield. Sony was in talks for a timed exclusivity. He revealed that on ResetEra.

Of course Phil pulled a sneaky on Sony and bought Bethesda entirely.

Kinda Funny died to me as soon as they fired Colin Moriarty. I'm surprised it's even still around.

oh man..............khan is a good guy...........he is just surrounded by LOTAS

Is he really a good guy? I seriously doubt that. He is much like his new mates at Kinda Funny, a bunch of hacks who will just go along with the grain to appease game developers so they can continue to reap the rewards of being involved in gaming media.

You are surprised 2 channels with a combined over half a million subscribers is still around?

Um........ok. I understand having a difference of opinion, Its easier to simply leave it at "died to me" then to question why those channels still exist as I find it really odd that someone feels this way about one thing and then magically assumes the rest of the world MUST be going down the same path as them, thus they should not be "still around" as in you are amazed that people have different opinions or something.

Sir, it would be like me fucking saying Burger King "died to me as soon as they got rid of the Veggie Burger, I'm surprised its even still around"

I get you don't like that someone was fired, shit I didn't either. Understandable... (I still support the 2 Kinda Funny channels and CLS btw)

I don't get this whole "I'm surprised its even still around".

Maxwell Jacob Friedman Maxwell Jacob Friedman I think the reveal could be pushed back based on some deal with Konami. I think at this point they are completely open to just out sourcing those IPs if not out right selling them.

Need I remind people, this would not be the first time Konami has outsourced game development to any of their major IP.

Man, you're taking my post way too seriously. I was never a big fan of theirs anyways, but I was a dedicated IGN Podcast Beyond listener back in the day. So when they did the Kinda Funny thing, I checked it out every once in a while, I didn't realize it was very popular though.

Microsoft will buy sega on a Friday! NOT WEDNESDAY!

my info is completely real btw! but it could also be a different company or it might also not be real...

am I doing it right? am I a "leaker™" now?

I remember Moore's Law Is Dead was saying how some insiders were telling him that Sony still have some secret games to reveal before the launch of the console. Maybe this is one of them.

Moore's Law Is Dead is another fraud. What he said was that Sony still had an unannounced game ready for LAUNCH, which turned out to be bullshit.

Don't believe in random youtubers.

I miss Colin, KF sort of fell apart for me after he left.

I respect that they wanted to go in the direction they're in right now, but I liked their dynamic a lot more after they split from IGN.

They were pretty good before they became a shill factory. Well except Tim. That dude has always been awful.
