Now they're being 5head in their mind and think they're subtly pressuring Jason to tweet about this.

The thing is this is not his comfort zone, beside his baby "Crunch issues" he play the game super safe. He knows better than openly embrace extreme lefties ideologies on Twitter. This time CDPR can actually clap back in this scenario and he doesn't want that.
The devs could easily debunk this shit. Beside that tweet all the other stuff are defendable. Trans=males=females hence mix it up. And in 2077 they are all sexualized equally. CDPR is portaying a realistic future not politically correct safe haven for easy as fuck to trigger Reeeees.

I spoke to some transgenders in discord, even they think Reeee is actually doing more harm than good with their aggressive behaviors. They are super excited to play an actual trans in an actuall AAA game. They all adore TW3 and are hyped af.

Honestly, I don't know. Surely Era would never judge a whole bunch of people just because of where they're from 😉

It just seems weird to me. Nobody on that site has any clue about 90% of the content of that game and yet they're all apparently clued up on the transphobic content within it.

Can someone point me in a direction whereby its been proven that a corporate entity, in this case CDPR, has been outwardly professing hatred or disdain for transgender people?

I’m leaning on the latter tbh. They would never cancel him in a million years, they would lose so much “cred” if they did.

As people have said before, it's because they made some jokes on twitter. They probably shouldn't have done that but they did. That was enough to have them deemed transphobic and that's not a label you are allowed to shake off so all subsequent actions must be viewed through that lens. Sure, it may seem like being the first company to produce a AAA game with trans options is a good thing and something that demonstrates support for the trans community - but we already know they are transphobic so we need to understand these options in terms of them being transphobic. So you just work backwards from there and there is always a way you can argue it if you really want to.

And of course the problem is that it doesn't matter what CDPR do now. If they apologise for the jokes, if they offer more trans options and characters, if they hire more trans employees. All these things will be either argued to be transphobic somehow or dismissed as cheap pandering to get money. They need to shut down and start up again with assumed names. Other than that, they may as well not bother doing anything in future because nothing will be enough, if all they care about is pleasing Resetera. Hopefully though, they can see the bigger picture and will continue to include trans options and characters in their games, despite this being vilified by the Resetera people.

Haha, I just can't quite figure out how they came to this conclusion. Is it seriously based off of one tweet? So a single individual social media intern has literally painted the entire company with this brush of transphobia.
I think a lot of users on Era need to wait and play the game for themselves, but that'd be far too easy, wouldn't it? There is seemingly no winning when trying to appease this angry mob.

Biden is less than 2 years from being f'n 80 and does not seem to be 'all there' and stumbles a lot when he speaks, even more so these days.

But i guess it is 'ageist' being concerned about having that old of a person holding the most stressful office in the world. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

YES. the game might actually handle it well. but i guess because someone on the marketing team made 2-3 Tweets we have to burn the whole thing before even seeing it.

After they have been doing a lot to accomodate diversity in the style RPGs usually allow you to and even more than that their 'point' still stands, because it's never enough. Unless they bend to every little whim, a luxury expected from a company that has already bent the knee, they will not be happy.

Which is why CDPR should do their thing and ignore further calls or they'll make it worse.
