I recall seeing this elsewhere on the board where Xbox said they were scaling down on news, and just wanted Xbox Wire from now on.

They are scaling down and that's exactly what happened. The thread implies causation when there's barely correlation. I do think however that most brazilian gamers are very crass, come on man we all know this it's not like I'm discovering the wheel here. But it's very disingenuous to suggest this is an Xbox issue, as I've met a gigantic amount of PS players who are absolute dickheads.

Nintendo fans in Brazil, on the other hand, are usually very polite and well endowed gentlemen. You guys can take my word for it.

Got nothing against Xbox. It's easy to throw labels around when people hide their raw opinions from public scrutiny. I simply don't subscribe to the corporate decisions and direction, nor the vision for the Brand and its trajectory as headed by division head Phil Spencer. I make my voice heard on that very loud and very clear. Unfortunately a clash of ideas is inevitable with those that follow that corporate suit like a herd. Long gone are the days of Peter Moore at Xbox. Those were the days. I'll say my piece on any hot topic, and I won't shy away from it for anybody.

The hate come from a wrong misconception here that woman don't know or play games... so some part of the community started saying a girl can show a youtube show about video games because she never took a controller on hands... from that the comments start to become worst to the points of death and rape threats.

The truth is... the story is real... and the harassment happened and the girl was fired to avoid to resolve issue (like it happens here in Brasil)... I find important to post to show more exposure and change how the Brasilian culture is today because that I think it is worth to talk.

It is really a big issue in Brasil.

LOL, i live in Brazil and i have no clue about Xbox Mil Grau or Isadora Basile, i'm not part of any Brazilian communities, but even i know about who Gabi Catuzzo is, some of my friends brought it to my attention what was happening back in the day.
She's the streamer that called men, misogynists, sexists, and SOB, and all kinds of other stuff, it was no surprise to me that Razer decided to stop sponsoring someone that insults a big part of their audience.
Gabi was defended to the last breath by left-wing militants, so i'm not surprised you are defending her here.
