Yes i do like they've done every generation since they started... Hardware doesn't magically get better on its own and no streaming service will ever compete with the native experience.

And there is where we differ and i am sure Microsoft will too, console hardware does not even break even, they loose money on it. This new xbox is state of the art, the tech in it is incredible, they are loosing so much money selling it at that price, but it is a sacrifice they are willing to take why gamepass grows.

7 years time, they won't accept that loss as game pass will be a monster by then.

Because game pass atm is still growing, lets be honest here for a second, Microsoft has just had a second wind after buying all these new studies, what was this place like a week ago, it was a morgue.

These studious will start believing in only 2-3 years + time, its a long wait, Microsoft has to be patient, rome was not built in a day. This is a company with meticulous planning set out for the future.

Outside of those stipulations, no Bethesda games will release on PS5, UNLESS its through Gamepass on PS5.

Like i said atm Gamepass is replaceable, its not a juggernaut, Why do you think the sudden shift from microsoft in the last 6 months, to suddenly start buying studios.

they need to grow that service so that it is a must on every single platform in the world 100% no questions asked, atm is not.

How does putting Game Pass on PSN benefit Xbox? They would pay Sony 30% for the privilege of giving up all Xbox exclusives day 1 and their own PS exclusives. Game Pass is a major reason to stay or join the Xbox ecosystem.

That only pulls people OUT of the Xbox ecosystem and moves them to Sony. Xbox already has the their own ecosystem, Game Pass app and store where they can sell the app and games without giving up 30% to a competitor.

Xbox didn't spend millions and millions of dollars developing Series X/S because they are leaving the console space (contrary to Sony fans hopes & dreams). They are covering all facets of gaming with consoles being a part of that.

These are very good points why Game Pass will probably never appear on PlayStation Platforms!

If people want to play Microsoft's IPs going forward, they happen to have lowered the barrier of entry more than anyone in the business ever has. Get game pass, a series S or a PC. To try to make the case that it's somehow in Microsoft's best interest to keep giving you the games that you like on someone else's system even if they own them, is absurd.

But the part ur missing is that exclusive content is important against those other companies too. And letting someone play them on PS means they can sub to Luna and skip the MS ecosystem. Dont see it.

Would it not look bad to buy something for so much just to cut its revenue stream over night by so much? Obviously been exclusive will bring in it's own money in a few various ways but would it make up for the turnover Zenimax makes today selling to everyone? It's a long term strategy and maybe a tough sell and introduces risk changing the business model.

If a Gamepass and multi format release works well I wouldn't be surprised if more X Box titles get ported over. Previous statements in the past have said as much (though merely likely talking about the Switch). I think they haven't been previously because they have embraced the traditional first party model for their other studios. If any company dares change things up though its Microsoft, as Gamepass has shown.

I could see it going either way tbh.
