Druckman wanted his early draft of TLOU1 where Tess hunts and kills Joel, which Bruce Straley threw out because it wasn't realistic enough. He's a spiteful little man-child with a victim complex.

If Sony leases from ms/Amazon or whomever, it means in scales of economy it’s cheaper than building your own infrastructure. All sorts of businesses in direct competition with Amazon rent server resources from these giants. These deals bear no relationship to the businesses they serve and their success. Xbox business is not ms Office just as PlayStation business is not Sony insurance business.

It just occurred to me with Microsoft opening tgs, rumors swirling of a Sega acquisition of all things, and Japanese devs reaffirming support for Xbox that Microsoft of all companies look to have more mindshare at tgs than Sony and even Nintendo. It's clear Sony is banking on positioning itself as the "premium experience", and Microsoft are gravitating to the "great value" position. However, with the hardware crown sitting with Microsoft, and it's massively bolstered first party, I'm not sure Sony can sing that song for long. I'm certainly not paying AUD$125.00 for their games. I think we're actually starting to see the disruption of Gamepass taking effect. If Microsoft can land one or two truly great games early in the generation, I think the tide will be ready to turn.

What have MS shown so far that makes you think they aren't screwed for the next 2-3 years, probably what will take for their next gen FP games to come out? Within your time-frame of the next 2-3 years, virtually every single one of the now-23 first party studios from Microsoft is due to launch a new game. If half - so, 11 - of them do, and only half are great, Microsoft have six great first party exclusives over the next three years. You're talking memes, while everyone else is taking Hellblade, Everwild, Forza, Fable, Doom, and Starfield. Your response will most likely be something something "they don't count" something something, and continue pretending that Xbox has no exclusives.

I can’t confirm this 100% but heard whispers and second hand. That Xbox Had more consoles on hand for retailers for pro order then Sony did. I was told Sony only had a 3rd world wide compared to what Xbox had available yesterday. Also Another wave of PS5 pre orders will be available later this week and early next week. Heard Xbox might have a second wave of pre orders for the second week of October. I have been told after the Xbox Second wave that retailers don’t expect another wave for Xbox until launch day. As Sony supposedly keeping in contact with Major Retailers.

literally at 8 this morning I secured another disk version. cam ,headset, an extra controller. I had to get my Sis to cop another controller. Everything is limited to one order per address. Also used paypal the credit card system was shambles. 1 of my mates lost his order ,because the bank app took to long with the 2 step authentication. Then all stock was gone. Now he has to spend his day looking online. Peak.

All I got left to cop is the 2 charge docks. I hope this is easier on release day & for those going into stores. Otherwise its just people wasting their time. When they can be doing other things.

But there must be game devs to begin with. It might be possible that we see a bidding war for game devs and studios in the very near future. Before this generation we had only Sony and Microsoft competing for the same user base. Now we have Microsoft, Sony, Amazon, Google and yes even dumb facebook. Everyone wants a bite of the huge gaming cake... And all of them want to see a return of their investments.

Do you guys remember the start of Netflix? At the beginning a lot of other content was on Netflix and now we have Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, CBS All Access, HBO, Amazon Prime, etc... You want to watch show A? Subscribe to Netflix. You want to watch show B? Subscribe to Disney+.

I can see a much more seperated gaming market where you won't get all the content you want on just your console. There could be more exclusives down the line to every service and console out there.

And all of them well be eating massive debts just like those Netflix, Disney, etc. I will watch this circus until the end while playing quality games on PS5.
