... Did you really write 'early in the generation'? What have MS shown so far that makes you think they aren't screwed for the next 2-3 years, probably what will take for their next gen FP games to come out? Halo, that game in development hell from a dev that had a 500 million budget and five years in the making and gave us Craig?
Within your time-frame of the next 2-3 years, virtually every single one of the now-23 first party studios from Microsoft is due to launch a new game. If half - so, 11 - of them do, and only half are great, Microsoft have six great first party exclusives over the next three years. You're talking memes, while everyone else is taking Hellblade, Everwild, Forza, Fable, Doom, and Starfield. Your response will most likely be something something "they don't count" something something, and continue pretending that Xbox has no exclusives.
If PS Studios suddenly vanished from Earth I could agree with you, but here they are ensuring we'll have great next gen experiences 'early in the generation'.
If I wanted to be as in-denial as yourself, it's easy to be negative about any platform holder. Let me try: what have Sony shown so far that makes you think they aren't screwed for the next 2-3 years? Ratchet and Clank? God of War: Ragnarok's logo? An USD$70.00 next-gen "remaster" of a two year old game? Their first parties take over five years to develop meaningful titles... so we're years away from the studios that matter dropping anything worthwhile. Why do you think they were so desperate to try and buy timed exclusives? And what if I don't want yet another cinematic third person action game?
See? What I wrote is complete nonsense, because its easy to downplay "the other team".
Anyway, you keep posting about Craig memes little buddy. I'm sure Jim's noticing.
