I think when you go full on SJW you simply can't tolerate any view that isn't in lockstep with the ideology.
Usually when they have "ideological clashes" like this stuff with JKR it's an all or nothing thing.
Sides are chosen and then you must destroy the other side.
Ten, probably even five, years ago a dude trying to enter women's spaces with the logic "but I actually identify as a woman" would be seen as a troll at best and a creepy predator at worst.
JK is still playing SJW but more in a "we must defend women's spaces from men" way and the movement has moved on.
Basically you have a bunch of angry white dudes who decided to start identifying as women and used that new identity to go FULL ON with the attacks and bullying. They would have been dismissed outright when they were angry white dudes but with their new identity they can go as far as they like.
So it's not just "she disagrees with us". It's "she's a horrible bigot who is KILLING people".
Turns out the best way to get people to start caring about male suicide is to identify those males as "women".
Suddenly NOW it's a crazy big deal.
Used to be "why should we set time aside to talk about men's issues hahaha every day is International Men's Day".
When the men identify as women though it's "oh my god anyone who even dares say anything bad about them is CAUSING THEM TO DIE!"
The whole thing with JK Rowling simply comes down to the fact that a woman is standing up to men, and they really don’t fucking like it.
Because let’s cut the crap: it’s mainly men who are instigating this shit. I’m fortunate enough to know two genuine transgender people who have been through a lot of pain, both mental and physical, to arrive at where they are now. Surgeries, hormones, constant medical checks etc. etc. It’s a hard, long road that earns them their right to fucking agree with JK Rowling. They’re terrified young people are being indoctrinated and brainwashed into decisions totally wrong for them due to peer pressure.
Most of the cunts who want Rowling dead are just entitled man babies who have decided to muscle in on just about the only arena they’ve left alone in the past.
JK Rowling is a fucking warrior... as are the trans couple I know. They’ve all known proper hardship, and won’t take shit from anyone - unlike the weak, nasty little boys this whole thing has enabled.
