They can barely make their current 'big' game function properly (Hunt Showdown, 500+ hours played atm btw, love it but boy is it a buggy and messy title) so I had no hope for their 'remaster' of Crysis.

If anything they increased the minimum performance requirements on PC. :/

It's a few times this issue has cropped up in cryengine games, I think Kingdom come deliverance had the same 31fps bug.

This seemed like a quick cashgrab to me from the beginning. This is not what this game deserved. After this long, all three (four) games should have been remastered with care and released in a nice package. Shame.

That's what I came to see. It sounds like this is a console issue.

This game gets too much attention for a C-level shooter.

It's one of the best sandbox shooters ever made. It's has a ton of nuance and is an incredible time if you play it on Hard or above. Playing a shooter on a console is the problem. Especially one locked at 30fps, it fucking sucks.

Imo its been done on purpose. Crysis has become the new benchmark all over again. The game will have PC gamers salavating all over again for years to come (after seeing how even a 3080 struggles with the game).
As stupid as it sounds, this will put an in crisis Crytec (pun intended) back on the map, at least with PC gamers.

Depends on settings obviously but max settings (can it run Crysis mode) has a 3080 well under 30fps.

Well under 30fps at 4k obviously, but you dont buy a 3080 to play at 1080p

As for how it looks, this seems to be one of those games that doesnt translate well to vids and pics. I saw a 4k vid yesterday, that seemed to be really high bitrate, and the game looked gorgeous.
