Doesn't change the fact that as mentioned in two posts, time adjusted, it is easily the most mind-blowing and memorable campaign, something which you agree with.

Halo 3 is a better, more ambitious campaign, but it cannot top the feeling of playing Halo 1 in it's time.

The enemy AI was also really good in Halo CE and it still holds up now. Halo CE had a good sandbox, but in the later levels the devs got lazy and started repeating the same room.

Agreed. Getting dragged along to one ended up kickstarting some of the most fun times I've ever had.

Not that I don't love online everything. But it really feels like we went backwards when this stopped becoming a popular thing to do, as a result.

16 players in a single house is somehow infinitely more fun and meaningful than 16 online, or these days, even 100.

Custom titles are given, you don't get to choose as far as I know.
