It doesnt mean its def cgi, if thats what you mean. It could be ingame cutscenes. I hope so because cgi will be a bit of a letdown

I played Odyssey as Kassandra, as it was by far the better designed character. The VA was much superior too, and she had this "Wonder Woman" quality about her.
Hopefully the male character will be much better this time around because to me it would make more sense to play as a male Viking.

I had a lot of fun with Odyssey. I never finished it, but I dropped a solid 50hrs into it. It whores you out in some ways, but the gameplay mechanics are top-notch and the fights were epic. If Valhalla comes to UPlay+ I'll definitely be interested in paying for a month to play it.

i'm watching Last Kingdom Season 4 at the moment and i would buy this instantly even if i'm no a huge AC fan.
Since i'm a sucker for Viking Stuff, it would be interesting to know how much they'll implement. ALso which timeline? First Landing of the vikings under Ragnar? Great Heathen Army under his Sons? Or much much later?

Trailer was interesting up until the iconic armblade wink to tell you its from Assassin's Creed franchise.
I have a theory that people don't actually give a shit about the Assassin's Creed pillars, the idea of being an assassin, the hooded main, the armblades, or the modern day bs that infects the story, so much as people just want to play high production well polished action RPG in period places and themes, and they know Assassin's Creed generally delivers on that despite the iconic shit that tries to bog it down.
Personally, I think Ubisoft should rename the series Warriors Creed and just drop half the bs and make it straight up action RPGs taking place in an interesting place and time. That is what is drawing people in anyway and they can drop the iconic bullshit that doesn't fit and only hamstrings what they are allowed do to with the games.
