Could be awesome. I love Apex’s use of heroes and special abilities. I could see different Spartans like Chief and Buck with different powers. Different elites, etc. Arbiter could be crazy. Warzone kind of bores me because it’s a bunch of nameless look alike soldiers who all play the same.

I mean yeah sure he didn't write about that japanese game but , most of what's here is not insiders news I mean I can tell you the Initiative is working on a game am I an insider?
You know what I'll go as far as saying that all of their studios are working on games.
I just feel like we make too much thread here about nothing at all be it likes on instagram or random exec n°3021 saying it's console is better than the other.
I'll simply add that Timdog is not in position to confirm anything but his bias and I don't understand how a squirrel swallowing a peanut is a confirmation of anything by Klobrille(he does often have good info about Xbox though but lean a bit too much in the fanboyism spectrum to be believed all the time) ... is a squirrel swallowing nut an english or american saying ? like kiling two birds with a stone?

No because MS said already that japan will be on their focus next gen.
This is the same thing as Obsidian game. It was already announced when Obsidian got bought that they will be working on MS game next after Outer Worlds.

It reminds me of this thread where no one paid attention to the fact that the size of the text document was 1.04KB = 1/4/2020 = April 1st. You can copy the text into notepad and save it. It will be that exact size.

Bethesda intentionally went out of their way to make sure that Obisidain didnt get a review bonus for New Vegas.

Since I got banned from ResetEra for saying this, I will say this here. Gears is not iconic. 7 months in and for a game with multiplayer component it is #30+ in most regions in the store. They put it in steam in and no one cared(compare that with MCC steam release). Coalition should focus on a new IP. Keep Gears Tactics but end the main series. I hope them putting it on Steam is an indication of them realizing the franchise is not that important anymore(usually they put older stuffs like MCC,Killer Instinct and now Sea of theives to advertie, but if its in launch like Ori, it means the franchise will end soon).
There are some rumors about another project in Coalition and I hope its Perfect Dark. I hope they focus on stuffs like Perfect Dark and MechAsault(let me dream for gods sake) in future.

Oof, this would be a nightmare for me. To me, Gears is a pillar of Xbox and has been synonymous with the brand since 2006. It is my fave property they have, just edging out Halo because its more fun to me. Though I didn't like the changes made to MP in 5, I'm really invested in the story and am itching for the finale. Thats what they are doing now with the new studios. Like I said new Fable and supposed Perfect Dark rebbot are also essentially new IPs.

IIRC TimDog has contacts in the industry. He may not act it, but that is what I remember hearing. As far as biases are concerned, well honestly as long as people don't use those to slander or attack a brand they have a bias against then I don't necessarily see the rumors at that point as anything other than fan speculation and hopeful wishing, and there's nothing wrong with that. You have more leeway doing that with game announcements and games in development versus, say, console specs.

These particular rumors aren't anything trying to slander PS5, so just because TimDog's an Xbox fan shouldn't have too much relevance in this given case.

I'd rather it be SEGA tbh; Platinum already has Tencent's backing, and I'd love to see SEGA go through their own rennassiance the way Capcom has the pas few years. They've taken some baby steps with things like Panzer Dragoon remake and SOR4, but they have enough IP that could be fit for a AAA re-imaging to please old and new fans alike. Something like a new mainline Phantasy Star could be ripe given the PSO2 partnership the two already have.

Plus they also have a lot of IP that could serve very well for the AA/smaller-scale efforts MS wants to have help fill out the Gamepass catalog. The only thing I would wonder about is Sonic; they'd probably Minecraft that and still have at least a couple more installments release on Nintendo platforms too because that's where the majority of Sonic's fanbase is these days.

I would rather XGS act as the publisher for another studio than to partner with another publisher.

Yeah I understand that in this case he is not trying to fight playstation but he has a history of bullshitting .That's why I'm not inclined to believe him.Klobrille has a real good track record for Xbox news with real connections which is something I can't say about timdog.
It is not about console war or anything for example I know klobrille is largely pro Xbox but damn if every fan of a console would act like him those console war thread would be way more peaceful and way less toxic.So I have no problem believing Klobrille for anything regarding Xbox.

Ive long held the belief that the xbox fandom at this point in time is a cult. Go into that xbox thread, read the replies, tell me im wrong.

Say your a Japanese developer. Almost 90 percent of your sales come from either switch or playstation, maybe a little less if PC is thrown in the mix. Now say Microsoft comes along begging for a deal, willing to fund the whole project and then some. Not a bad deal, until you realize your alienating a good 75-80 percent of your real fans, not xbox fan boys on a message board with an agenda, but actual fans who spend their money on sequel after sequel. These publishers saw what happened when they made a deal with the devil back in the 360 days. The game bombed domestically and sales overseas barely made up the difference and thats with a year and half head start and significant price advantage for the 360..

With all that being said, which Japanese publisher is willing to take that gamble? Which publisher is going to say, "you know what? Our newest game that just received record sales on the PS4 or switch really should go on the platform that has 1 percent market share domestically and is getting outsold 3:1 worldwide from the ps4." Who takes that gamble? Whose that desperate. Serious question.
