Would be great to see the game with better graphics but it doesn't need a remake. They should make Dino Crisis remake or a sequel.

Man i feel bad for the guy that has been working on HD texture pack for RE4 for years. He used to be active a lot on this forum.
Anyway no im not excited at all. The original is still looking quite good. But unfortunately seems they are going all out on remakes while i want a brand new RE8.

The exact gameplay and encounter design is entirely what makes RE4 good... This isn't the type of game where you can mix things up and hope to end up with a good game.
The only way this works imho is of they go the opposite way and make the game fixed camera with tank controls. If they try anything resembling third person shooter they will have quite an uphill battle.

As someone who doesnt like RE4 I'll keep an open mind but considering how RE3 turned out I'm not expecting much.
They would need to overhaul everything after the village, rewrite every character aside from Luis(?) and Ashley, and tone down flash bangs and melee attacks to really grab my interest.

Hope it's true. I'd love to see a remake of it with the visual fidelity of the last two REmakes.

Yes, and Nintendo will make more Marios, Zeldas and Pokemons. And Rockstar more GTAs, and EA more FIFAS, and Ubisoft more AC or Far Cry games. And sure, it's pretty likely that the teams who will work in these games will include many people who worked in previous ones from these series.

I totally understand spoilers for something that came recently or even a year 2 ago. But 15 years? Like, seriously? If you didn't play the game in all those years is because you got no interest. Which means its not a problem of others but only yours.
