I haven't even watched the trailer. I don't need to, Anything by this writer and directer in the BB universe has me invested no questions asked.
My fear before BCS aired was that it was going to be fan service despite being a prequel and they were going to shoehorn BB characters in when it wouldn't make chronological sense for them to meet, Especially Walter White. But thankfully he resisted that temptation and crafted a story that is arguably more compelling than the original BB.
I know casuals would probably tune in expecting a surreal mirage of Heisenberg from he eyes of Jesse or something, But i don't think that's the kind of structure Vince normally goes for in this show. At best, we might get a flashback but even they were used sparingly in BB (When Walt and Skyler buy their first home) But other than that i can't think of any off the top of my head.

I recall an interview with Gilligan where he talked about bcs timelines, how they made one mistake in an early episode and he got a ton of fan email exposing the problem and how the scenario couldn't happen. From that point on they took a lot of care to ensure that there were no time or paradox type issues . The bb bcs universe and characters are his brain child and hea absolutely nailing how all the media fits together. I suspect this movie will also be spectacular.

There are a ton of flashbacks in Breaking Bad; flashbacks of Walt and Jesse's early adventures together, how Jesse got the RV, Walt has a flashback about Gretchen, tons involving the cartel (the young cousins, Gus's partner being killed), Gale building the lab... probably a few more I'm missing.

Thanks, It's been years since i've seen it and i didn't realise there was that many. Flashbacks are acceptable in this show because it's established that those are the only 2 story telling mechanics that they use in BB/BCS and that it all takes place in reality.
What i don't think they should do is the Mad Men route where the presentation of the show takes place in a reality and then in season 5 out of nowhere the characters start hallucinating and the viewer doesn't know what's real or what's not or even worse, doing the 13 reason why bollocks where dead characters appear as the protagonists conscience for an excuse to make the character return.

People asking about release time, midnight Pacific Time, 1am mountain time, 2 am Central Time, 3 am Easter time in the US.
I have no idea when it comes to Alaska, which may just be on Pacific time but I imagine they are at least 1 hour earlier. Or is it later? If it is 6 am in California, and 5 am in Alaska, who gets to see it earlier?
Anyway, those are the times for the 48 US states that all are directly connected. I cannot speak for the rest of the world, or those two states in the US.

This character deserves everything he gets.
What an annoying POS, throughout the series. Basically the cause of all of his own misery, between his poor life choices, and his inability to actually think about the consequences of his repeatedly retarded behavior, which he then blames on anyone but himself.
This series gave us some of the most annoying characters of all time. Marie, Skyler, Rian Johnson, but he takes the cake.
I hope this is just two hours of Jesse Pinkman being tortured. Then Walter comes back from the grave and joins. Then somehow, I gain the ability to walk into a fictional world, and can join too.
