COMICS!!! |OT| March Harley Quinn does the Banana Splits

Pete Carroll Owns Me
Watched a couple more. Can't watch this anymore. Not even for Wells. So many superhero tv shows on this year and not a single one I want to keep watching. Dropped most of them.

Maybe I will give Legion a shot. Is Into The Badlands worth watching? Sounds like Lazarus.

Damn, I need American Gods to start soon.

Into the Badlands has good action but most of the acting is unbearably bad. Doesn't feel anything like Lazarus.

Into the Badlands is good. Gorgeous fight choreography, some solid visuals. Everything else is basically okay. There's one teen character who does grate somewhat, but he's easily the weakest link and not so bad.

You should definitely be watching Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, and AoS. They've all improved enormously this year.

jon bones

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
persona 5 is already amazing 1.5 hrs in

set it to 'very easy' to try to turn it into an adventure game

let's see how this goes

I need my Switch now dammit. I don't wanna wait next week, it's gotta come tomorrow. I'm craving for it.

you're in for a treat. zelda right into puyo puyo and mk8d.

Legion is amazing. Watching Legion and Logan reminded me why I love the x-men. It's a shame it hasn't been something I've felt from the comics since whedon and Carey's runs

And American Gods will,be top tier. I can just feel it. I'm really contemplating a reread of the book before the show starts. It's been so long I only remember the main outline of the story.

Has Kate Spencer been a part of the DCU since New 52? I'm reading Manhunter right now and man is it awesome. I really enjoy her character.

Detective Comics #952
This issue is the dark before the dawn. It's badass and it's terrifying at the same time. You can only sit and look in awe at the sheer cliff that represents how unmatched the League of Shadows is. They just walk in, take and kill anything. This is also a different take on Shiva, I feel, yet not out of character.

Poor Cassandra.

Detective Comics #953
HOOOOOOO SHIT. Goddamn this book is intense. Keep pumping out wins, Tynion. Keep pumping out wins.

Batwoman #1

Aaaah Madripoor. Alas we meet again. X-23 vs Tiger Tyger.

I mean. Wait. Oh this is a DC book. Mmmkay. So it's Coryana, Batwoman, and Safiya? Uh huh.

Was at a Barnes and Noble today, and did some comic reading. Read Night of the Monster Men crossover, which was alright, with some pretty nice moments like this:

Basil being part of the team is so freaking cool.

Tried to go through Civil War II too, but bleh.

Riley Rossmo's art was so great for that crossover. He's doing the Batman/Shadow book which will be awesome.

And yeah, Basil is great. Detective Comics is the best X-Men book being published.

I read the first issue of Morrison's X-Men and I wasn't too big on it outside of the Wolverine and Cyclops moments. I'll continue reading though.

It's a great run. Just keep in mind that half of why it's praised is Morrison's willingness to introduce new ideas into the franchise - many of which were immediately cast aside. He does a great job in exploring mutants as a minority group subculture that's inevitably going to be the majority. The franchise has been stale ever since and hasn't progressed outside of maybe Kieron Gillen's run.

Fair warning though, the ending is rushed in part because Morrison had a falling out with Marvel management.

Ok Batman using Clayface like a mech is kinda cool.

I don't understand why they didn't just leave Xorn as
Magneto
.
It was an awesome twist at the climax of the story.

I think or heard it's a combination of his death and the fact i guess they want a more redeemable Magneto and the shit he did in New X-men would be hard to walk away from. Though the way they did it will make Hawkman proud

Yea, you have to really make sure to read Chuck Dixon's run afterwards. He really clears up the whole Xorn thing.

I'm sorry.

Not even as a joke...............not.. even.. as.. a.. joke :(

Morrisons xmen is good stuff, if even for the non cheesy costumes and quentin quire, kid omega for headmaster you all

I'm probably in the minority but I think Flash S3 has got better as its gone along, the end of series 2 into 3 really annoyed me with the
jay garrick kop out switcheroo, the complete bullshit multiple barrys nonsense they used to stop zoom in the last ep (if you tried to keep up with that it made no logical sense whatsoever), then the flashpoint alternate reality which is a story they already had earlier in the show, they pretty much copied it directly again

Though as series 3 goes on I'm actually liking the story, its all about how Barry is finally having to pay for all the time altering bullshit hes done without thinking and everything from flashpoint is coming back to haunt him.
He's facing this impending/unstoppable trauma from Savitar that was only made possible by the mistakes he made in flashpoint
. Savitar himself hasn't been much of anything, but really hes just a means to an end. Definitely time for a non speedster villain in S4 though. I've also appreciated Tom Felton as new cast member who's really willing to call Barry out for his constant bullshit at work and personal life.

Holy shit I think I might of found the worst comic page of the year.

I don't know who this America character is. But apparently she's better than Spider-Man, Superman, Thor, Sliced bread, the internet and Pokemon.

Inhumans Prime

Inhumans, how can you be so interesting and so damn boring at the same time?

I just don't get it. Power wise, character wise, the whole idea of royalty and leading, all of it is really interesting but somehow every time I read any of the books they're just so boring.

I remembered to get that free month of Marvel Unlimited just in time. I've always wanted to read New X-Men so I figured I'd start there as well.

Does anyone read Clean Room or Unfollow? I guess Sheriff Of Babylon got me browsing Vertigo book and those two look like the best ones going right now?

Clean Room started off really good but I fell off when it got a little overly convoluted and messy. I've heard Unfollow is pretty good but never tried it.

Serpentine! Thanks for mentioning Space Battle Lunchtime exists because I loved it.
Worth reading just for the colouring but the art, layouts, character/food designs and pacing are great too. Sure, the plot is fairly straightforward but it wasn't a problem at all and the other aspects keep it fresh.

Only problem - v1 ends on a cliffhanger and v2 isn't out till july.
