For those playing the Vita version, not only is this PSTV-compatible, but it uses the L2/R2 buttons for the touchscreen controls, which feels better to me.

Is anyone having issues with the PC version, regarding menus? When I try and access certain menus it automatically jumps to the bottom and won't allow me to move away. It's really annoying.

I never had this happening to me.

The game did freeze one or two times, but it was nothing game breaking, prob. occurred due to some other stuff going on on my lappy like update etc.

Far as an official update to improve graphics, haven't heard anything so far. As is it's a PS3 port, to get it to near PS4 graphics quality you'd need to use mods for the time being @_@

So apparently the guy who made the render distance mod is also working on making the Ultra textures functioning. Thank god for modders fixing this shoddy port.

Shoddy as in 'Steam page shows PS4 quality graphics, but ingame it's nothing like that'?
In which case I agree, but Ultra textures are what matters to me atm, I don't have an issue with render distance even though I get pop in in a few stages XP

Are you using the XB1 controller on W10? I had the same thing happen to me, and it can be fixed by installing old drivers, but this could break other games.

No, shoddy as in 'you can't even see all enemies in the same area as you since the render distance is awful'.

Anyways, here's the link where he states he's working on it.

Ugh, so co-op kinda sucks.

1. Unlike Hyrule Warriors(the only other Musou I've played), you and your partners Kills and ! do not get combined at the end. You get ranked individually. So to get S rank overall, at least one of you has to hit all the quotas.

2. You can't get multiple "play as this character" Treasure Events in one playthrough. Only activates for Player 1. So, for instance, if you do "Pirates vs CP9" co-oping with Zoro and Sanji, hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone, the Treasure Event will only pop for whoever Player 1 is playing as. I think this counted for getting the gold coins to unlock specials as well.

Yes! It's exactly what I'm using. Maybe I'll just unplug the controller and try navigating with my keyboard when I want to do that stuff. Thanks!

I must say, playing through Story mode make me realize (once again) what an awesome journey One Piece was/is.

Indeed. Early arcs are some unmatched shit when it comes to innocent adventure. The way every future Straw Hat is getting introduced, the unique locations, the little stories, strong drama bits, comedy, perfectly fitting music...

Chopper's false hiding is ingenious, btw. Try it out if you have a niece/nephew or younger sibling or something,

Playing the game and reading through Punk Hazard for the first time really makes me want to pick up those One Piece box sets and read the manga. I watched the show until Thriller Bark, so I never actually read it.

It's a bit annoying how the costumes haven't been released for PS4 in Europe yet. They're obviously done since they're out for PC. Don't know what's taking so long.

Also, it's a little bit annoying how you have to play certain levels four-five times to unlock every treasure event and every special attack, and also a tiny detail is that the bronze fishmen coins are being used way too much. There are too few fishmen characters and you run out of coins quickly since almost every character needs 15+ fishmen coins.

Fortunately, when the treasure event appears, you can quit the level and go the next one as the event will be marked as completed. Though you do have to clear the level atleast once to complete the legend.

The manga's great. I love Oda's art.

Just wrapped up Legend Log last night. Last one I played was PW1 so it's great to see that they dropped the shitty QTE stuff. I'm having fun with the new characters they've added since then.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Took me 40+ minutes to beat Impel Down...damn, Ivankov seems to absolutely suck at doing damage. Took me forever to beat Magellan.

Also fucked the Treasure Events---couldn't seem to free the prisoners even though the guide says Buggy will do it if you make sure he isn't bothered by the Minotaur or flees, and really didn't understand the mission where I had to beat Mr. 2 to the control room first as I wasn't sure what path to go.

Finally got it, played the first 2 Episodes of Legend Log and a couple of Dream Log. It's glorious. Kizuna Rush with more than 3 assists is totally chaotic, I was just mashing and basking in the spectacle there.

Only complaint right now is that the camera could use a lot of work, even for a musou game this one's pretty bad.

Oda's art is good, but there are times (at least what I've read of the manga) where I have to stare at a panel to realize what the hell is going on action-wise. Example, when Luffy is fighting Hody, there were a panel where Hody bites him and then Luffy punches him. It took me 2 minutes to figure out what had just transpired lol
and yes, I bought the Viz translations off CMX, so they are good scans
I really dig Oda's character designs and style, though. At the very least, the "boob situation" isn't quite as exacerbated as it is in the anime (and by extension, this game). Nami barely wearing anything still irks me, but it's not as distracting since Oda rarely even draws her below the neck. Even so, they are definitely not the "I cups" Oda says they are (or the show actually draws for us lol)

On the actual game, I'm on the last Legend Log mission. I skipped over the cutscenes for Fishman's Island and Punk Hazard, as I hadn't finished them yesterday. I'm really digging the game a lot. So far, my most satisfying character is Zoro though. His attacks just seem to hit the most enemies and I love it lol

Ivankov is pretty good, I'd say.

It's alright imo, but certainly not perfect. Remember to press L2 to lock onto strong enemies and that you can always press L1 to center the camera behind you (L1 is necessary, especially when you do sharp turns or 180 flips with dashes).

Buggy treasure event requires that you empty the whole area he walks through, also for mr2 just take the control room zones before he reaches them while also holding back minotaurs and magellan.

Ivankov hell wink does tons of dmg its is triangle square.

Yeah the action scenes can be hard to follow, but I've always found that to be the case in quite a few shonen series.

Of the Strawhats, I like playing as Nami the most. It's fun setting up clouds and then setting off lightning. Outside of that I really like Buggy, Perona, and Tashigi. Trying to get Akainu since he's my favorite Admiral.

I just tried pre-timeskip Franky for the first time, and I'm surprised they brought back the Cola bar (it was in PW1 but removed in PW2). It works well though. They didn't bring back music bar for pre-timeskip Brook though, which was definitely for the better. Man, I love Franky. I love his voice and I love his one-liners, lol.

Also, one thing I didn't mention before but really like, is the character-specific dialogs (like when characters who know each other battle each other and they reference actual stuff). That's a nice touch.

If I start dream log with a different character, I lose my progress from the previous one, huh?

No, of course not. It's a bad design decision that you have to go back to the main menu to switch, but it would be really, really dumb if you had to do the whole thing with just one character. I usually switch every one or two islands.

oh thank god lol

The DLC islands confused me, as well. When I went out then back in, I didn't see that I had made any progress, but I think it's because I played one of the DLC islands.

Goddamnit. I'm such a moron.

I pressed Start instead of Continue. I didn't realize Continue would just let you pick another character. FUUUUCK

This game just highlights to me how cool and varied the characters are in this series. By far the best DW type game I have ever played. Can't wait to unlock more people now that the main game is over.

Is it my or some costume are bugged ?(eu) I have 3 costumes for Zorro they all look the same

I have Metal Gear Solid V, Mad Max and Arkham Knight, but for some reason I can't stop playing this game. The dopamine hit of sending hundreds of guys flying with crazy attacks keep me coming back.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate this smug motherfucker right here?

I think I have him unlocked and I should try playing as him already @_@
I liked him when he was lovable ventriloquist pigeon man.

Then he turned into the asshole he is. F you, Lucci.

really hoping they add those costumes today or I just bought the Season Pass for nothing. The want for the "Z" costumes is annoying me.

What is the strategy for fighting bosses and captain? They go into this state where combos don't faze them and they wind up attacking through my attack and knocking me back. I know this is some way to counter them or drain their bar quicker so they exit rhat state, but how do I do it.

There are plenty of ways. You could use either special attacks or kizuna rush, or if you have a character with elemental or ranged attacks, you could use that. If you're in a position where you can do any of that, you can use dodge his/her attacks and counterattack when the lightning icon appears above the enemies head.

Down to the last character to unlock! Having too much fun with this game. It was my most anticipated title of the year, and it's living up to my expectations. There is so much to unlock!

I'm a bit disappointed with Garp, though. I feel like they could have made him a bit more fun/beastly.

Garp is awesome, imo. His movesets are based all around him grabbing enemies. There are lots of fun references to the manga with some wacky stuff like him falling asleep while punching, and then there are his all out crazy ST move that he can do in kizuna rush. His special attacks are pretty great too. Give the man another chance.

Man, the game is a blast. Still going steady here on Vita if anyone is curious. Only drawback is no overwhelming enemy count. To S-rank it takes 1500 kills because of that. Still more than enough enemies to kill, if I hadn't seen footage of the PS4 version I wouldn't even question it. :p

For a OP first-timer, learning the story has been fun so far.

Also you can find the series on places like Funi and CR pretty easily if you want to get into it for free.

That'd take so much time, it's ridiculous. You could watch two episodes a day religiously and it'd take almost a year to catch up.

About time that DLC show up. I hope they get both story packs up and working soon.

Yeah, it's much better in every regard the read the manga. It's faster, has better art, no filler and better scenes. A few scenarios are better in the anime, like Bink's Sake, but you can just watch those moments on Youtube. Still, watching the anime for a year doesn't sound like a bad idea anyway. It's not like it's not enjoyable. And on that note, you don't have to rush it just to get caught up; then you'll just have to wait weekly/bi-weekly for a new chapter anyway.

Where do I access the DLC levels? I bought it and got the costumes, but it doesn't tell you where the levels are located at all.

where can you actually read the manga for free? As a person getting into the series that actually supports anything related to the people that make it? I read the newest chapter every week but I also buy several things from the series to support it. Asking somebody who is new to buy and or read the whole series without supporting it isn't much better then me saying to watch some of it on a site that supports it either through adds or subscriptions they already have.

Also I've watched the whole series so far in under 2 weeks with like only a few hours a day watching it but again I'm a fan of it.

Dream Log is where they're located Davy back in to the right of the beginning and the marieford war is to the back, more or located in there that I haven't fully looked at yet.
