Ok so I read that Vega has stances now. I'm so sorry but that's fucking stupid.
Beyond the fact of making the game easier to get into, which multiple stances doesn't do, it's also not fun. I've never liked characters that work like this.
And once he losses his claw he can't pick it up?
Smh.
Character seems pretty ruined imo. Pointless and needless changes just for changes sake.

Just wait until they announce Akuma, but it's the Puzzle Fighter version. All special moves are executed via a separate mobile version of Puzzle Fighter with unprecedented connectivity to SFV

Yeah, everything should be kept exactly the same as SF4. Innovation and change are stupid.

Him being a stance character doesn't change how he plays, just gives him more optionsThere is a huge fucking gap between what I said and what you are saying I said.
Edit.
Will he be a good character? Who knows. Maybe. But that's neither here nor there. Making him a stance character fundamentally changes how he plays. That's not what I was looking for.
It's great that you guys think it's a good change. I hope you enjoy playing him. It's not for me, and that's my opinion on the matter.
Yeah, now that you mention it, your opinion is quite wrong.Ah yes, I forgot there's something calledwrongopinions.
Everyone's going to dogpile on you (as they already have), but you're totally right.Ok so I read that Vega has stances now. I'm so sorry but that's fucking stupid.

Ok this is weird...They said in this stream Bison is the only true charge character so far, and that Vega is motion. (But he's not entirely sure)

Kinda opens up room for more charge characters if he's right.
I like the idea of stances for Vega. Sort of plays into his matador side, for me at least.Ok so I read that Vega has stances now. I'm so sorry but that's fucking stupid.

Yeah, now that you mention it, your opinion is quite wrong.
How can you actually look at both of those Cammys and think The SFV one isn't waaay better? lol
As far as Ken, that's a bad angle of his his SFV model. Looks good at most angles. While SFIV Ken doesn't look good at any angle.
Very high res versions available anywhere? (Like Gamersyde had up with all the other reveals)Literally just came in

My point is that the vs screen pic people use is the only time his face doesn't look good.it's not a bad angle, the VS screen model doesn't seem polished/finished.
Now I remember! Vega's Rose throw reminds me of the sunglasses throw from K's Chain Drive in the King of Fighters.
And people will continue to use because it helps people push their narrative/opinion that some/all Street Fighter V characters look ugly.My point is that the vs screen pic people use is the only time his face doesn't look good.

Vega as a character totally revolves around his claw and mask. His throws were always classy, but this is really baffling. And he's a stance character??? Why not introduce a new character with a removable (mayble Baraka-like single blade) claw with stance?
Why not put him in DLC? The first game is to focus on new characters because you know for a fact the casuals will buy all the old characters for DLC.
Just really baffling.

Why give Ryu a parry? They've completely ruined his character.
A more appropriate comparison is Ryu loses his fireball and shoryuken and has to become a grappler. Why give Ryu a parry? They've completely ruined his character.
Like I said, his whole concept is that he's got stronger normals because of his gear, and a fair downside in that he can get nerfed if he loses the gear. He's a total rushdown/aggro character, I don't think anyone will argue that.Except you don't have to buy any DLC, so why does that matter?
Also, Vega looks awesome. It's much more interesting to have him have a different moveset without claw than just have shorter range without it. Like...why is he going to fight EXACTLY THE SAME when he loses his weapon? What people seem to be asking, and one of my major problems with SF4, is for characters to play the way they always have in whatever system they're in, even if it's to the detriment of the character. What they're doing in 5, and what's so fucking awesome about it, is redesigning the characters to fit within the mainframe of the SF5 mechanics.
SF4 Ken looks like a hairless monkey
I'm saying it's just a character select screen issue. Saying it's his model at a bad angle makes it even worse since his Ingame model isn't that bad.
Ken's face only looks ugly when he's close to the camera. During normal gameplay his face looks good. Check some random screenshots I took from his Gamersyde trailer:

* sigh *
But I'm going to just be called a hater because I wanna see new characters and not more of SF2.
