ELDERBORN: VENGEANCE brings brutal first-person melee combat into the age of blood, iron, and ancient gods - heavier in impact, faster in motion, and more responsive than before. Unleash the new hook to close the distance, lure them to the edge, and kick their pathetic forms into the pit. Dodge incoming blows and answer with powerful counters, break their guard with heavy slashes, or outflank enemies, climb above them, and come down with a crushing aerial assault.
Every fight is a trial of timing, force, and position - close the distance, change the angle, exploit the opening, and turn the battlefield into a slaughter pit of your own making.
Lethal weapons forged around your style
Choose from a wide arsenal split into distinct weapon types like two-handed, one-handed, polearms, or fist weapons. Each type carries its own law of violence: every two-handed strike is uninterruptible, one-handed weapons offer higher accuracy, and fist weapons hit harder the faster you move.
Progression goes deeper than raw stats. With each level, raise your core attributes, unlock additional skills, and shape your build through unique perks. Each weapon type has its own skill tree, and the more you fight with a given type, the more mastery you gain to unlock abilities made for that path. Devote yourself to one path or divide your training between several, then upgrade specific weapons with pieces found throughout the world to forge deadly combinations around the way you fight.

ELDERBORN: VENGEANCE takes you deeper into the ancient world that came before ours - a harsh cradle from which known civilizations would one day rise. This is a tale of blood, ancient demigods, and a legend that begins when someone close to you is taken by the rulers of that world. You will go after those who took them, following the path of vengeance through forgotten lands, buried secrets, and enemies who still believe power makes them untouchable.

The developers describe the content like this:"ELDERBORN Vengeance" takes place in a classic, dark fantasy setting where strength is the law and there is no place for mercy. Brutal melee combat featured in the game creates gory imagery on every step. Heads will fly. Literally. The world depicted in the game also pays aesthetic tribute to heavy metal album covers. Scantily-clad warrior maidens and buffed barbarians with some artistic anatomical liberties are to be expected (but no actual nudity).
