I'm not trying to sound like an ass here but how did they get this running on an XB1? At 1080p and 60 no less.
Maximum use of potential by T10.

Looks to be in pretty good shape. It does however look "cartoony" at times. Can't really put my finger on it.

Yeah I want this so badly. This + the Elite X1 controller is going to be bliss!
Will the elite controller improve the racing game experience? I was under the impression it was more suited for the fps crowd.Forza is the reason I ordered the controller, can't wait!
Looks great! I normally buy every other forza game but it seems like I'll have to make an exception for this iteration.

Sitting here watching the thread, playing Fallout Shelter and buying cars in Forza 5... lol
If anyone would like to play some Forza 5/Horizon 2 and chat about Forza 6 my gamertag is FordGTGuy...
500+ puddles, get ready for some hard times on the ring without assists.
^Cool story bro, tell me more. How many laps did you do and in what car?
Only 500p? Well that explains why it looks so last gen...
This plus the weather and TOD aren't dynamic.Lots of hard work and smart engineers.
Sidewinder, a test track in forza 3 had 8 ribbons because it was a huge clump of different corners a few miles long which could easily be cut up, sadly it was also one of the most boring tracks in the game.
There were 1080P and 60fps launch titles on PS3 almost 8 years ago. Not downplaying the visuals for this at all but people have to realize that this is a design choice and not directly hardware related. You can see the asset quality of the environments are quite low. Especially at the beginning of the video. The backgrounds could pass off as last gen.
That's why the whole comparisons between other games are dumb. DriveClub, Forza and PCars are trying to achieve different results with different engines and goals, etc.

I'd imagine the paddles would be quite nice for drifting and other times you need the E-brake... the thumbstick sensitivity curves and the hair triggers are also things I could see as useful for some gamers.
Is it just me or does the amount of rain on the windshield increase when you drive close to another vehicle.
Changes throughout the race and hopefully realistically. What does dynamic weather mean?
It's looks pretty good here as it is to me...
nope not you. The splashup occurs next to vehicles in various gifs.

And I guess you never played Forza 5.
You have to sacrifice a lot, A LOOOOOOT, in order to make a game run at 60fps.

Which PS3 launch games ran at 1080p/60fps? I'd genuinely like to know.

It looks like a Sega arcade racing game on current gen hardware.Looks great but a bit cartoony. Reminds me of Outrun.
It looks great. I'm just personally not into how clean Forza looks. I much prefer the look of Driveclub or a Grid.
