DAI is worse than DA2? I thought it was well regarded

It isn't a bad game, no. It has some good graphics, different areas to explore and some nice choices for our Inquisitor to make.

I just found the combat to be several steps back from DAO and DA2. The tactical camera is simply horrible to use. I played on Nightmare, and while it's easier than DAO and especially DA2, it's much more frustrating.
The combat might improve with patches, though. And I hope it does. I might replay it in that case.

The story is ok. The characters are ok, with some great companions. The ending was disappointing, but I really liked the post-ending scene and the teaser of what might come next.

I don't know, I did play it a lot and I liked it despite how frustrating the combat was. I just liked DAO and even DA2 more.

LOOK AT ALL THAT FILTHY DUST

Buy a can or twelve of compressed air and go nuts.

Invest in a portable air-compressor. One that can also work off of 12V car-charger. You'll save money very quickly and get the job done WAY more efficiently and also have the ability to fill your car tires when needed.

Is deponia complete journey a collection of all the deponia games or another game?

It's a collection of all the Deponia games (but a separate library entry) You get all the three games (all in one app) the soundtrack and commentary, plus some concept art.
I loved the Deponia games when I first played them and still love to listen to the German soundtrack (probably because I don't know a word in German)

If you don't mind that puzzles don't always have logic and that your playable character is an a-hole, then you will probably have a blast playing them.

Grabbed that Heileen 2 bundle because that gap in the list was bothering me (I have never played the others).

I usually respect other peoples opinions about things.

And then I read that DA2 > Origins thread.

No. Just no.
While I'm saddened that people so willfully contribute to the decline of the genre in terms of the mainstream, so long as that crowd directs their efforts towards further "improving" the DA franchise with their suggestions and stays away from the actual crpg revival that is taking place elsewhere, I'll live.

DAI is worse than DA2? I thought it was well regarded
I haven't played much of it so far, only a few hours in, controls are still pissing me off. That said I'm only 2 hours in but I'm finding Wasteland 2 to be far more interesting at the moment, it's just so blatantly a console game in terms of the concessions made from DA:O to DA:I that it's fairly low on my backlog priority.

I've heard the same opinion expressed a few times on RPGCodex. And those people really hate DA2.

DA:O is god-tier for me and DA2 was perhaps the worst sequel I've ever played. DA2 isn't absolutely terrible, just very very flawed. I'm around 60 hours into DA:I and I'd say DA2 = DA:I right now, DA:I has about as many flaws but they mostly fixed the issues of DA2, only to introduce plenty of new problems. It's almost unimaginable but they made the combat worse than what it was in DA2, unless you are happy playing it like an action game with a gamepad. That's not what I'm looking for but the mainstream (people who hated DA:O combat) seem to usually like it.

I'll keep playing as I like the Dragon Age lore no matter how terrible they make the combat/gameplay. Just finished the fifth book too. DA:I is another disappointment but it might still make it to my top 10 of 2014 thanks to the setting, the world, the lore (though not necessarily the main story).

If they fixed all the issues I have with DA:I, the next Dragon Age game would basically be slightly more modern version of DA:O. I'd like that. Also it will never happen considering how they are winning GOTY awards with this game.

I know :p But i need to wait clear day to bring my case outside so it will be dirty for a couple of days :D

Probably not very, unless they have access to your email account too.

Ok, thanks for that bit of reassurance. These things always get me super paranoid.

I got one of these during black friday, no more compressed air for me. Really effective but loud as hell though, gotta move the case outside before I use it.

Looking for other uses for it, maybe doubles as a leaf blower and hair dryer.

Why? What was wrong with Bioshock Infinite?

Relative to the previous two games- the combat system was gimped, as was variety in enemies and weaponry (I prefer to think vox armaments don't exist). It wasn't a bad game overall though, not to me.

Also the parallel of

DA > DA2 > DAI
B> B2 > BI

The third games were incredibly hyped, with fans expecting someone grand, at least on par with the original games in quality. A mostly successful return to form. Professional and fan response were nearly all positive (early on), but both will likely be remembered as decent efforts at best, tragedies of missed opportunity at worst.

MGR is continuing to be incredible. I'm up to Sundowner now and I haven't had a dull moment yet. The combat is just SO GOOD. Also playing as Gray Fox too so it makes it that much cooler.

Bioshock Infinite's biggest problem was that it didn't know what it wanted to be, and the constant switch between exploration + exposition and SHOOT ALL THE MANS, ALL OF THEM, HERE'S SOME MORE just didn't gel well, something which the devs obviously thought too, judging by the DLC =p

Who is a clone and defects were introduced during the process?
This simile is falling apart, fast =p

Faster than Ubisoft's stock?

seeing the state that game was released in (and still more or less is) - I'm willing to believe that Nintendo actually paid ubi to NOT release it on WiiU :p

Makes you wonder if WiiU would be able to run the game (even in 480p) at framerates larget than 10s.

ModBot doesn't mark games that have been taken anymore?

Got Stick it to the Man, thanks

here's stumps explanation
It's not that you goofed, it's a quirk of how ModBot works.

When someone wins, ModBot uses GAF's search engines to find the posts it needs to edit. It edits them all out. Unfortunately, GAF's search engine only adds posts every 15 minutes, so if the post hasn't been added to the search engine yet, ModBot can't find it. If this happens, ModBot checks the last 5-10 pages of the most recent Steam thread to try to find the post. This isn't the most recent Steam thread. Hence why it couldn't find the post.

If other people try to enter and ModBot notices "Hey, why the heck are people trying to enter for something that's already claimed?", it will initiate another search->edit cycle. Eventually when the post is added to the search database this cycle will work and the edit will go through.

I had never really planned for a split-thread approach to ModBot. I'll try to come up with something better for the next major sale, I guess.

POP Methodology Experiment One Steam keys are now available on Humble if you voted for it half a year ago.

This game is nuts. I tried multiple times last night to get an LP up and all failed. I'm not sure what this game does that it manages to evade all methods I have to capture (including cpu-capture) but man it was annoying.

Anyhoo, I'm not sure what type of statement the game is trying to make, but if you have epilepsy, stay clear of this game.
