At one side we have one of the most hyped game of the past 3 years alongside Tears of The Kingdom and Elden Ring

At the other we have the most hyped furry/tumblr bait game over the past 5 years which surprised everyone when it was first revealed and raised a lot of attention due to how unique it looks,

Two titans, two games, which will have the better scores and surprise gamers most?

Starfield is a once-in-a-generation gaming event.

Goodbye Volcano High is a once-in-a-lifetime cultural phenomenon. The hype for it is already massive and will only grow. MS should have delayed it by another year to avoid the clash, although I’m not sure even that would be enough.

Also, did dinosaurs even have fur?

Never heard of the Volcano one.

I just watched a video, and I think I hate everything about it, and I can see already how much reviewers will jizz all over it. So probably that one because reviewers love quirky games.

Prediction: BG3 runs like shit on PS5 and Starfield holds steady 30fps on both series machines. Goodbye Volcano High still wins GOTY.

What's Volcano High?

"Goodbye Volcano High" is a groundbreaking and innovative video game that pushes the boundaries of storytelling, character development, and gameplay mechanics. It stands as a true masterpiece in the world of interactive entertainment, offering an experience that is both emotionally resonant and intellectually stimulating.
Narrative Depth: At its core, "Goodbye Volcano High" is an epic narrative-driven adventure, reminiscent of the intricate storytelling found in titles like "The Legend of Zelda," "Dark Souls," and "Minecraft," but with its own unique twist. The game transports players to a beautifully crafted prehistoric world inhabited by anthropomorphic dinosaur characters who are facing the impending apocalypse as their volcano home threatens to erupt.
Character Development: One of the game's most remarkable features is its deeply fleshed-out characters. Much like "The Legend of Zelda" series, players will form deep connections with these dinosaur protagonists, each with their own personalities, backstories, and motivations. Your choices throughout the game will significantly impact character relationships and ultimately determine the fate of the world.
Gameplay Systems:
  1. Exploration and Puzzle-Solving (Zelda Influence): "Goodbye Volcano High" takes inspiration from "Zelda" in terms of exploration and puzzle-solving. Players will embark on a vast, open-world adventure filled with secrets, dungeons, and intricate puzzles to solve. The world is brimming with life, featuring lush landscapes, ancient ruins, and diverse ecosystems, making it a joy to explore.
  2. Dark Souls-Inspired Combat: Combat in "Goodbye Volcano High" is reminiscent of the challenging and methodical combat of "Dark Souls." As players encounter various threats and adversaries, they'll need to strategize, learn attack patterns, and master precise timing to overcome formidable foes. The game's punishing difficulty ensures that each victory is hard-earned and immensely satisfying.
  3. Minecraft-Style World Building: Drawing from "Minecraft," "Goodbye Volcano High" introduces a robust world-building system. Players can shape the environment to their liking, construct shelters, craft tools, and even create alliances with other dinosaur clans. This mechanic adds a layer of sandbox creativity to the game, allowing for personalized approaches to survival and diplomacy.
Artistic Excellence: The game's visuals are nothing short of breathtaking. With a stunning hand-painted art style, "Goodbye Volcano High" immerses players in a world filled with vibrant colors, lush landscapes, and meticulously detailed characters. The emotional depth and expressive animations of the dinosaurs breathe life into the narrative, ensuring players become fully invested in their stories.
Musical Score and Sound Design: The game's musical score, composed by an award-winning team, complements the experience perfectly. Just as "The Legend of Zelda" series is known for its iconic melodies, "Goodbye Volcano High" boasts a soundtrack that sets the mood, enhances storytelling, and lingers in players' minds long after they've finished playing.
In summary, "Goodbye Volcano High" is an unforgettable gaming experience that combines the best elements of "The Legend of Zelda," "Dark Souls," and "Minecraft" to create a masterpiece of storytelling, character development, and gameplay innovation. It is a testament to the power of video games as a medium for emotional storytelling and artistic expression, setting a new standard for interactive entertainment.

GAF should positive review-bomb this game for the lulz. Can you imagine the meltdowns at Era if we somehow rated this game higher than them, and only ever showed support/adoration?

I dunno, I think it'd be hilarious.

On PS5 Goodbye Volcano High is going to sell more than Starfield, guaranteed. But if we take into account Xbox Series, then...
