I have windows Xp home edition. I called Xbox customer service and they told me to download Windows media connect and service pack 2. But that will only stream music and let me view photos right? what do I need to do to stream movies from my pc through my xbox 360? I need windows media extender right? Can someone please explain?

You need Windows media connect just as customer support said.
