feel like without COVID you lose a lot of things. ACAB never becomes a thing. the Antifa riots don't become a thing. the lockdown doesn't become a thing. maybe Bernie actually wins. hundreds of thousands of people live, millions more can go to church, gym, school, hospital, etc. society is completely changed.
imo a lot of the social unrest we are seeing is just due to people going stir crazy. we are social beings. we are not meant to sit in our rooms all day.
furthermore we communicate based on vocal cues, and the mask shit is counter to that. now whenever you are out, you cannot see anyone's mouth, which is unnerving. it promotes a sense of anonymity, and we are seeing people feel entitled to act like they would if they knew they could get away with stuff.
