Ooo nice telly, l currently have that and a Sony Bravia8mk2 in my basket and can't decide on which one to get... The G5 has the superior brightness which is great for my south facing large windowed room or the Sony which will pair with my theatre Quads and has that Sony image quality... Literally can't make my mind up and the 9mk2 is far too expensive for my tastes

I almost bought the G6 but for $1200 more the upgrade wasn't worth it.

And this one was also $500 off

Came back home from Best Buy in a minivan taxi and gave the cab driver $20 to help me bring it up the stairs

Yeah I'm not reading good things about the G6 especially when you take into the price difference for the G5, it's a no brainer, I like the LGs I have a CX and a C4 already and have had no issues with them

I'm re-re-rewatching Blade Runner 2049
I've also tried a bunch of games from my backlog for 10 minutes each just to see the difference.

It's a total game changer.
Everything is so crisp and detailed, with perfect contrast & brightness.
Hell even the sound kicks all sorts of ass.

Just got a fighting stick for the first time since my TE died back 10+ years ago.

All the Evo 2026 hype caught up with me and the $89 Qanba was too good to ignore. I didn't want to learn leverless especially since I'm not some master+++ player.

It felt like putting on a glove. Immediately playing smoother, more comfortable, and having fun.

Learning under night in birth 2 and vampire savior leisurely now on it.

Yes I have a PS5 Pro.

Sorry don't want to derail the thread but I noticed streaming directly on the LG is quite problematic.

I get frequent lag spikes and fake "disconnect" issues when my WIFI is fine.
If I switch to my XSX or PS5 no issues.

I had the same problems with my previous TV a Sharp Roku 50" LCD.

Is this a common issue when streaming directly from the TV?
